this team. I don't know why, but so many Dolphin fans continue to claim they are disappointed because this team is too talented to be 3-7. I'm not one to tell people when they are right and wrong because opinions are opinions. But cmon guys, this teams talent level is DISGUSTING overrated. I don't know why that is, because I found myself (prior to this season unfolding) claiming guys like McMike and Chambers were great. But the truth is, they're good, not even close to great.

Outside of Ronnie, Zach and JT.....I struggle mightily to argue that any other player on this team is or can be great. I could be missing a guy or two, but it's not much more than that. I'm fine with the job Nick has done to this point with what he has to work with. This team needs to be seriously revamped, in my opinion. Here are the pressing needs that I see (feel free to add, subtract or disagree with these needs):

1. Quarterback
2. Secondary
3. Bring in some more youth on defense
4. WR

Remember, this is going to be a process. We need to be patient even though it's frustrating and difficult to do.

i agree with your needs but i dont agree with what was said earlier...we have the TALENT..but talent alone wont do it...this team is full of ryan leafs...pleayers that are full of talent...but who dont have the drive to live the talent or in other words who dont play up to talent

Nope, I live in PA and am at work. I've actually never listened to that show. Who is SID, btw?

Considering you just wrote WORD FOR WORD what they just said, Im guessing you are listening online ( I mean you are in front of a CPU aren't ya! :shakeno: )

Just my opinion, but the more I watch this team, the more obvious it comes. The Dolphins need to rebuild the D. I remember when JJ came in and rebuilt the D, he said he wanted young guys. Young guys with speed, and that were hungry to prove themselves! As the season goes along, the Fins look old, slow, and not real hungry. Mainly a certain cb Im saying doesnt look "hungry to prove himself."
I agree, that we HAVE to get a qb, and a # 1 WR. I was against Owens, but starting to change my mind. I wouldnt mind Burress at WR either, but not sure if hes a FA at the end of year or not.

Yes, I am in front of a computer, and no I'm not listening online. Again, I've never listened to that show nor did I even know that you could listen online.

I wouldn't listen to somone's elses opinion and then repeat it word for word....knowing that someone else would have seen or heard it somewhere else. It's an opinion, thats all.

Zach, JT and Ricky are the only ones worth keeping. Ronnie is a very good yardage hog but he does not affect the game...

Yeah, and how does Ricky affect the game differently than Ronnie? I still can't believe people are doubting Ronnie. What more does he have to do? Break 8 tackles on one play instead of 6? :shakeno:

 :shakeno: Ronnie is awesome! This is his first season and he is tearing it up. He can't change the game when he is not getting the carries.

Nothing wrong with Ronnie....that some other talent on the team, wouldn't make him better. He's done more with less than anyone could imagine....if only they would use him the right way...AKA...more runs.

Agreed. I'd much rather have Ronnie than Ricky if the choice needed to be made. I have to admit, I was excited about the 2-back system a few weeks back because you have two good RBs constantly in the game or being swapped so that they are fresh.

The problem I see with that is neither running back will have a chance to get or stay in rhythm considering they are playing every other series or so. I would only be for keeping both players if Ronnie played most of the game and Ricky becomes more of a 3rd down back or both players can be on the field at the same time for 75% of the offensive plays.

I dont want to get banned, so this is all I can do with this post... :rofl3:  :rofl3:  :rofl3: Thanks for the comedy! I needed it!

Actually, if anything is bad about Ronnie it's that he has become such a standout that he is exposing the rest of the team for just exactly how poor it is.
