but in the few years they may have left, do you think they even see the playoffs again? A couple of years a go, the Steelers took their average team all the way to the Super Bowl and won, and they did it mainly for Jerome Bettis. It would be so nice to see our team do that for these two. When do you all see us getting back?

Though this is the NFL and with injuries you never know you may surprise people and get to the Playoffs this year.

But realistically I think your team is about at least a year away from making that push
 
I think that if we can get Shaq to play O/line for and Wade to play reciver for us maybe we have a chance, what do u guy's think????????????

When did the Steelers win w/ an average team? Remember that team was 5-1 in 2004 the was banged up early on but once they got it going no one stopped them. Don't act like you are anywhere close to that '05 Pitt team. Indy isn't close to that Pitt eam and their are the reigning SB Champ.

That shows me you think it can be done and that yopu think pitt wasn't great and you aren't far from them.

This is ridiculous. The Steelers were the best team that year. They beat their high powered division rival, the Colts, who had the best record in the NFL, a 13-3 Bronco team, and the NFC championship. And they didn't do it for Jerome Bettis. 32 teams want to win the Super Bowl every year.

I think that 2008 is realistically a playoff possibility. 2009 or 2010 would be when Zach's body gives out, and Taylor would last another year or so. So I think they will see playoffs.
 
Jason T & Zach T - Are going to have the same feeling Dan did - loyalty to the Fins and Ringless !!
 
Hell,I'm more worried about if the Dolphins can win
a Super Bowl before "I" die.
