We are 5 - 4!!!!! Nothing except next Sunday Matters

This thread is inspired by the game day thread Sunday as well as the Very Very negative threads I and most of you are witnessing today.

We are 5 and 4. We won the game yesterday. We have won 3 games in a row! We are over .500! Tied for 2nd in our division. 1 game out of first. We are 2 - 1 in the AFC East. Chad Pennington is rated the 6th best QB in the league....going into week 10!!!!!! He might make the probowl because only Rivers and Manning is ahead of him in the AFC. Our RB's are creeping up on 1000 yards for the season. JP has 12 sacks! Our DB's are playing good. Yeremiah Bell has a great chance at making the probowl. Sparano is coaching some excellent football.

We got Oakland Sunday....we will beat oakland on Sunday...who cares if it's only by 1 point in overtime.

Point is we lost to the Jets and Houston two teams we should have beaten.......so we beat Seattle by 2 points!!!!! We won! Be happy.

Remember last year we were in Detroits position. Sex with Wifey aint so good with a season like that.

We are gaining respect......without Zach and JT! We are heading in the right direction.....have you guys noticed that our penalties are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down this year...so is our sacks.

Most importantingly.....have you noticed we have only had 1 QB start this year?

What will it take for our team to win our hearts back? We are 5-4!!! 2nd place in the division. I enjoy watching our team. Nothing else matters but this Sunday and what new tricks the Wildcat will entertain us with.

Not quite sure how that's possible but I love the optomisim
 
The team always has had my heart. The only reason I post somthing negative is to present my opinion on things that need to be fixed. If you are happy simply for the wins, that's fine. I'm still looking at how to improve a team, and, looking at the flaws to see progression by our team. Simply putting on aqua glasses and saying everything is hunky dory and everything about the team is fine...Well, I don't see how that aids in any sort of a qualitative insight into team performance.
 
The perfect guide to getting your heart broken is to only looking at the positives.

Its good to always look at how we can improve, and I totally agree with that, and enjoy reading posts from some of you that have an understanding of the game, its the ones that are clueless, for example the many that keep calling for Henne, when we have a top 10 QB who is leading ths team to victories.

Outstanding approach and a wise perspective. I'd like nothing more than to award you with a regular pair of sun glasses. After all, you do support a team from the sunshine state, right? ;)

hes not on his own actually. Id rather stew in my own putrid, festering anger than pretend i am in the mood for human contact. Thank god I have a wife that understands and keeps her distance after a loss.

Great, Great post! Love seeing fans of ANY TEAM ANY SPORT or any HUMAN thinking that way. Thats a personality that can't be taught but one that is given. Love how you look to FIX thigns and become GREAT rather then being satisfied with what is on the table. thats a winner! keep it up brotha! :hi5:

how about those that pepper the good with a bit of reality?

Maybe they are people that embrace the positive but are not totally shocked when something goes wrong.

The seattle game is a perfect example, the people that are the most negative (I have found) are the people that totally expected us to destroy the seahawks.

I was happy we won and i also got a chance to collect my vbookie money :lol:
