we are a garbage time team

i checked our scoring for each quarter. we pad our offense stats so much its ridiculous all of our scoring is coming during teams playing the prevent defense.

first quarter: 3 points total!!!!!!!!!
second quarter: 23 points total
third quarter: 20 points total
fourth quarter: 32 points total

very true...when teams play a straight up defense our offense is poop..plain and simple.

The problem appears to me to be less about garbage time and more about not starting the game effectively. The games Miami has played have mostly been close even in the 4th Q. They're not 30 point blowouts. The problem is that the team has been playing in the hole or at best even for virtually the entire time. If the O could just put up even a field goal on its first drive, I think you'd see things go a lot differently.

This isn't much of a suprise. Everyone knows our offense pretty much sucks! I don't think too many people are buying into the 4th qtr comeback stats, but Jimmy brings up a good point of us always being in every game...we just can't make the big play.
