SO far this way better then last year. We dont have as many superstars on our team but at least our dolphins are competative. I hate hearing people jump the boat after week 2. Like that stupid post about Ronnie a Bust and why didn't we choose Caddy, GUS suck thread. Damn i hope all those people go cheer for Pitt they seem to be winning now.

Indeed the team has played much better, The defense let down today, but i'm still impressed with the Job Saban has done. This 1-1 is just SO much better than the 0-2 start last year i cant even explain it, your right.

I get pretty emotional during the games (cant go out in public I get in such a rage haha) but after the game was over I felt pretty good at the fact that we didnt roll over.. and we played hard..

Agreed. Heck you tell me prior to the season the Dolphins would be tied for first place and the defense be back to normal and I would have taken it. People have no patience. It takes a while for a coach to get things going. Also, the offense is 10x better than last year. Gus plays very smart and that will keep them in games. The corner position scares me a bit, but again the team is competitive and I'm enjoying it so far.

Look, you gotta call it like it is..look closely at Gus' play these two games and tell me he doesn't suck ??? As far as Brown goes, I'll reserve judgement because our OL is only marginally better than last year. Pitts sucks too...I want to cheer on the Fins, but the fact is we are at the same level as the other 3 teams in our division...

Sorry, fat fingers...the last line should read we are NOT at the same level as the other 3 teams in the AFCE...

Your gonna have to back that up. He played very well last week and was hardly the reason for todays loss. Dropped passes and a jets d-line that was in the fins backfield all day can hardly be blammed on Gus. I was not a supporter (aka: guskateer) but other then 2 picks (1 meant nothing because of the D) I dont see how you can bash him. I suppose you want AJ? Puuleeasse.

He was throwing behind his recievers last week, but they were making the catches. He was overthowing both this and last week on his deeper routes and outs...the facts are that he was very inaccurate...You can't just look at the picks...and yes, he had some dropped balls. He didn't have a lot of support from the OL either, same as AJ last year. The only difference is that the OL is slightly better than last years'.

As far as AJ...and I was a staunch supporter, that's not a secret, but Gus is our guy now...He has to improve if we are going to improve. Gus is not the only problem we have on the team...the OL, secondary and Gus are the major areas that need improvement...Perhaps Gus might be better if the OL was a little better, but the overthrows of the deeper routes and outs was not related to pressure, in general, on Gus.

I guess what upsets me the most is that we COULD have beaten the Jests...If Gus hits one of the deeper passes instead of misses...if the OL has one less false start or holding call, if the reciever makes a catch of a off-target, but catchable ball, the game could have been a lot different. The difference between how we played last week to this week, even tho I also thought Gus was off-target some last week, is what is so upsetting.
