We are Dolphin Fans! Stand by your team!

I think things will get a lot better as a team by the fourth pre-season game.

I think so too. We're seeing improvement and that's all you can ask for. What I'm saying is that if we go out on opening day and get blown out..this message board is going to

Bro if that were to happen, I would probably atke a vacation from the site, due to it will be over run with lots of negativity, and probably even Nick should be fired threads. I am in it for the long haul, and I have already been.

Positive/Negative

Just because someone points out a negative, does not mean they see more negative than positive. It is more interesting to talk aobut the issues.

I don't have much respect for people on teams (no you guys) that thing everything is always peachy and fine, with an 'oh everything will be fine attitude" when that is not the case.

There is a lot of work to do this year AND next to win a Superbowl. I would imagine that most FANS on this board like debating the issues. It is more intelligent than sitting around talking about how great we are.

Blind Fans of any team bug me. So debate away. If you don't like a thread don't read it, why does everyone around the world have to be reminded you can read what you want?

I was not a Gus fan before, why should I suddenly think all positive about him. He needs to win me a few games before that can happen.

If you seen some of the thread titles the last day or so? I am just saying don't be negative with just a blanket statement. Put some thought into a realistic solution, so it can be discussed with a sense of possible realty, rather then just throwing things out there.

It's not to me. I tend to think that is why I am a fan and someone who likes to talk about the negative stuff more is a critic.

Thx for making my POV even more clear.

Again this does not mean the fan who follows the Dolphins cares more or less about the team than the critic who follows the Dolphins.

It's about being honest.

You can be a fan and still be honest.

Root for Miami every week but realize this team isn't winning a Super Bowl this year. Has a huge problem at the quarterback position. And has holes in a few key areas.

That's not being negative its being honest

I was an ugly splotch of orange #34 in a sea of black and gold last night in Jacksonville.

..and I -loved- every second of it.

I agree withthat. This year is a building year for teams future success. I think it will take 2-3 years to get us back in the hunt. Just my opinion.

I am a proud Dolphin Fan. If someone wants to call me a homer then fine. If I see something wrong, I will say it, however I will also look for a possible solution to the problem. There is way too much of the sky is falling already. To those people I just question there loyalty, and commitment to the team, and the rest of the fans!

CALI - I totally agree... I am one Dolphins fan that is really happy with what I am seeing... Saban involved with the players and coaching. Weaknesses from the first game improved upon. Some change up of the play calling... The blitzing... The sacks, the improved o-line, the improved dbs... I am VERY HAPPY with where we are right now. Next week will get a little better, then next even better when we get to play at home... I think all of us Dolphins fans should be really happy! Like Saban says, this is a process, and the process is working. We still have 3 more pre-season games left until it really matters. I am so confident that when that day comes, these posts will turn positive.

And yes, it will take some time. We should be happy that the changes we needed to make have been made. We have the coaching staff we need. We may not have all of the players we need, but the cs knows this... We should not have anything but excitement for this year because this is the first year of the process...

gus is a jay fielder clone. he starts this year and we go 5-11.
We have to wait and see. I know this is a position that will need to be addressed in the future. Who knows Randy could be on the phone wheeling and dealing with Nick's approval of course.
