Im not some overreacting Finfan Diehard wannabe. i see the postives and negatives. Yes weh have some work to do and we will improve on those areas.
This is a rebuilding year. and we have accomplished alot in the offseason. We will have a solid 8-8 or 9-7 year.

Ok, lets try your idea. I think we are in need of a QB, sooner rather than later. Having said that, it is hard to find one. Last year was one of the stronger years in the college QB department. Since I think we all can agree we will need a QB for the future....or for now for that matter, why not see what it would cost to get a Rivers?? If we somehow COULD move up a few spots this coming year and get the #1 overall pick, I doubt we could afford it. Rivers is better than anything coming out next year, and has been around the NFL game for a year. He should be closer to being ready than waiting a year and then training someone, and he would be cheaper.
At the rate we are going now, we are gonna be better in all departments except the most important one and will still be two years away from getting one ready to play at a high level. I would gladly give up next years first pick for Rivers. Is he a can't miss prospect?? Of course not, but like Saban has already said any high drafted QB is only about a 33% chance of being a big time NFL talent. So I would try and trade with SD while we are still doing badly so SD will think our pick will be a top 5. If we start winning they may want more than a 1st, if they wouldn't already.
Well that is my idea, now everyone can line up and tell me why I hate the fins for suggesting such a thing.
 
I agree with cali. We were a 4-12 team last year. Anyone who is expecting a playoff team this year is foolish. I will stand by this team and Saban because in 2-3 years I feel we will have something special here.
 
i say we go 12-4 with fair qb play if gus can have a season like gannon or maddax we will be ok cut a.j now nick.
