Fasano , Rosario , Mastrud , Yeatman?

unless Yeatman is coming here to be a tackle???

why didn't we just cut mastrud

i am confused

Masturd will get cut or sent to the PS, the churning of the roster is not done, We will only keep 3 TE's on the roster and it will prob be Fasano, Rosario, and yeatman who will be used strictly as a blocking TE

Yea, I did not get it either. I think we wanted a week or so to try out these two new TEs and we very well could bring back a player we released or someone else. No way can we keep 4 TEs on the 53 (plus H-Back Clay) with another TE on the practice squad.

and we could add Clay at TE position !

I really hope that signing will don't stop the clay progress because I think this guy could really be a special catching TE in the future

chill out guys we are churning the roster, masturd will probably get cut and Clay is listed as FB and he is in H-back not a true TE, we will not carry 4 TE's going into the season it will probably be Fasano, Rosario, and Yeatman!!

My best guess is that Mastrud was kept around because the season starts in less than a week. Yeatman and Rosario won't know the offense that quickly. If Fasano was to get hurt between now and then or during the first game Miami would essentially be playing without a TE. I fully expect Mastrud to get cut after the first week or 2

ha ha...you don't put any time or emphasis in upgrading the te position depth in free agency or the draft but now you want to carry 4 on the 53 man roster

typical

its a good question. my question is why ****ler over edds?

Yeatman and Mastrud will have two weeks of practice to show which one is the better blocking tight end. The other will be gone the Monday after the Houston game, to be replaced by a running back or a position where we've taken injuries.

Just need for Fasano to step up and catch the football... He was a real letdown last year with his drop's and seems to have not fixed the problem

4 tight ends?!?!?!?

Could someone explain to me why we have 4 tight ends on the team? Instead of having 4 wide receiver sets are we going to start having 4 tight end sets(or possibly even 5 with Clay)? I really have no clue what we are trying to accomplish with having so many tight ends. If the team is focused on adding more tight ends there are some more backup players that could be cut(i.e. Spitler, Francis, and maybe even one of our backup quarterbacks Chad Henne or Matt Moore. I guess we are replacing the wildcat with the attack of the tight ends.
