Personally Im getting seasick watching from week to week how opinions go on the team. That being said a win is a win and we did do some nice things versus San Diego.
Player of the game once again the punter Fields. Tannehill shows that he is far from the bust that many have tryed to label him for no valid reason. He is a huge reason we won today.
Defense went back to thier bend dont break prinicples and actually made some ket stops late in game. So good game because we won but we are in no way ready to challenge anybody in playoffs.
we may actually make playoffs as bad as everyone seems to be in AFC but making playoffs is still making the playoffs. Worse stat of the day 4 more sacks to put us within 11 sacks of dolphins record for sacks given up in a season.
Thats basically an inevitable result. Im predicting 61 sacks. Danial Thomas was solid today even though he is not a starting caliber NFL back but good to get production from him. Clay made some big plays today and may be the best blessing of Keller going down.
He cant block to save his life but he has became a solid weapon with similar production to Mike Wallace at a 11 million dollar discount. Right now I will take any and all victories but still want some major changes in dolphin land this team can't seem to put away anybody.

I wanted progress this year and I am not sure I have seen it. However, they are in the hunt at 5-5 so they have a chance to show progress in the last six games.

I dont think anyone outside of TAnnehill has shown progress but the whole conference is in regression this year bu maybe we can take advantage of that

And Clay.. He may not be all pro level but is currently playing like a top 10 TE :)
7th (Tied) in the Leage in Touchdowns
8th in the Leage in Receptions
9th in the League in Yards

My mistake he definately has shown progress. The injury to Keller may have been for the best because I doubt he develops with Keller out there.
He is doing some nice things now esp compared to what we have had at TE in the receiving department.

Speaking of missing pieces and "solid weaponry," what about the WR you were so sure for so long would be a useless bad signing who in fact turned out to be our most reliable go-to receiver before he got hurt? Forgot about him?

This a below .500 team we have here, unfortunately.

Yes we have a few bright spots; Grimes, Clay, Gibby (terrible loss), Fields, Patterson (if he could only stay healthy) ... that's really about it IMHO. Every other position is under performing, inconsistent or just plain sucks.

Some of you guys might see some progress, and I'm not going to argue because there really is no point, but I see a team that over all has taken a step or two backwards, and frankly, going into the season I thought we were going to be much better.

With that said, I don't blame the players (except for Rat Fink), although they threw in the towel last week - but at least they had a rebound this week. This is a GM and coaching issue and we will be a sub par team until something changes in those areas.

After watching the Bucs systematically destroy the Falcons this weekend, I'm not even sure the players threw in the towel last week. I think maybe the Bucs just finally snapped out of their horrible, MRSA-induced malaise and realized that nothing they could do was going to get Greg Schiano fired mid-season.

Well we did beat division leaders cincinnati and indy. To say we can't challenge anybody in the playoffs is a reach. The only game we have played that wasn't in our grasp for a win was the saints. Our record says average but make no mistake this team plays till the end and we always seem to put ourselves in position to win, doesn't always workout but we are there. I think we can compete with just about any team in the afc.

I think the Bucs got the medicine they needed when they beat us, but regardless ... lackluster coaching and GM is my real point.

Don't get me wrong, our problems aren't going away, but to beat the Chargers with the laughably undermanned OL we trotted out yesterday was a pretty damn good win.

We have been crushed by injuries and scandal and we're somehow still in contention for that 9-7 record I predicted.

9-7? At this point that would be awesome. I hope so.

Strong showing in the last 4 division games and it's a real possibility. Can't get swept by the Bills and Patriots.

Well NE has had worse issues with injuries and murders and yet they still keep rolloing

Like I said the AFC is weak good wins yes but I dont see it happening crunch time. We could be an 8 win team now or a 2 win team the way we have played
