And there's nothing wrong with that. We knew we needed 2 corners, a FS, a MLB, an OLB and another WR going into this season. And looking back, and at that moment, it was clear taking two RB's in the draft was a mistake. I think I am not alone in that. We could've used a body in the secondary and at WR much much more. Oh well its not a really surprise that in April Dolphins fans still had a better grasp of the talent still on the Dolphins roster than the new regime did.

On the flip side year 2 of this rebuild will allow a crystal clear agenda for Bill Parcells. It should be fun watching him address those positions. One by one.

Maybe we needed one more high draft pick in the first and second.

Donald Thomas will BE BACK. RG has been the biggest weakness on offense. I always shutter to think where we'd be with Thomas instead of Ndewku/Mathis. Especially on the wildcat plays that neither seem to be able to block for. At the very least Donald will be bigger, stronger and a more intelligent football player in his second season even if he didn't get the benefit of real experience.

Chad Henne.....thats why. Henne and Ginn are already friends despite that OSU/Michigan thing. They are both eager to play with each other and I am excited for that prospect. As an Ohio State fan I was kind of bitter we drafted a couple Wolverines but if it means having a pro bowl LT and QB who can get the ball to Ginn I am thrilled for the Fins outlook.

And Chad Pennington keeping us in games was a blessing. We needed a leader/teacher. He's perfect, imagine if his intelligence rubs off on either of our young QB's.

i agree that we look like most expected us to look after 6 games....
we lack talent in certain areas... but when you dont utilize the talent you have.... then i get a little concerned.
 
Yes I agree many of us knew the flaws but we are actually doing better than I beleive many of us thought so I do not agree with the statement you made "We are, who we thought we were". I look for improvment each week and have been seeing it. Ginn in the return game yesterday, Porter playing at a pro bowl level last week, Matt Roth playing very well the week before that, Ronnie Brown playing "almost" at last year level the game before that, Chad Pennington falling into our laps and playing at a very high level the very first game. Rookies like Thomas and Lankford playing like real starters in training camp. Yes we are on the right track. The coach is learning to Sporano he is making mistakes but he learns from them and makes changes in the next weeks game plan. You see it every week. Coaching was the area I was most concerned with.

WilfOrd shOuld hav been da WR gettin da jump ball On dat drive we settled fOr a FG wen we thru dat jump ball tO CamarillO. and Our HC needs tO start gOin fOr it On 4th and shOrt instead Of settlin fOr FGs and punts.

On defense, Our DL didn't help POrter Or Our cOrners Out at all by nOt prOvidin pressure On da QB.

sO Our cOrners hav nOt cOme dOwn wit da INTs and Our DL nOt prOvidin 'cOnsistent' QB pressure and did struggle at times against da run wen FergusOn went dOwn.

With Parcells having been given carte blanche, there is no reason this team should not win at least 7 games this season. Parcells changed players, coaches, etc whatever he wanted. What other gm or coach has ever had that much power. Cam's defensive cor was hired before he was. He had very little power as evidenced by someone making him start Beck. If Parcells can't win under these circumstances (that I think almost any legit gm could) then the Fins will never win.

Parcells is the single best football coach of all time.

Just having Parcells anywhere in your organization wins you 4 extra games.

Parcells gets the most out of his players when he is coaching. He gets the most out of his staff when he is GM.

I couldn't read anymore. I said we needed two corners cause this team needs 3 and Will Allen is the only keeper. Where did you get this notion that only 2 corners play?

Again, you are the one misinformed. We start 2 MLB's and Akin Ayodele BLOWS. Crowder is playing great but we NEED 2....Not 1. Why do you make a post like this when your so clueless?

Renaldo Hill can't cover, play the ball, or tackle but ya we'll count on him and Jason Allen. Allen atleast might be able to play, Hill can not.

Wilford? Earnest Wilford will be a Dolphin for another 4 months. He's useless to this offense.

I couldn't take you seriously after that point.
