We Beat Ourselves Today,the Jets Didn't Beat Us...imo!!!

Well first of all,congrats to the Jets.....But from what i saw,we beat ourselves today.Too many mental mistakes,which a young team will do.We gave up big plays(Farve's miracle 4th down pass).And IMO,we didn't get Ronnie the ball enough,he lookes awesome....Please tell me what you,my brothers in Aqua and Orange think....

I don't wear those colors, but I agree that the Jets didn't beat you today.

We need Hagan and Wilford or London in there. Are receivers were small.

c'mon get real, we didn't have a kicker today. Otherwise this wouldn't have been close.

Dolphins are a lively team however, and they don't quit. But you still have a lot of work to do. Still can't stop the run and you guys still don't have any wide receivers.

But a couple of good tight ends, and chad loves those dump offs underneath.
 
I think we were OUTPLAYED

but with the game there in the 4th quarter and the mistakes we made basically giving the Jets the game, i too think we beat ourselves.
 
Ronnie should of been in on every 3rd down play. Cobbs did nothing at all today to have kept himself in on every 3rd down.

If you did have a kicker you wouldn't have gone for it on 4th down when Favre threw up that prayer touchdown pass. It would have been 17-14.

Fact is that if Nugent didnt get injured, you would of not had that miracle touchdown and it would of been a 3 point game. When else did that come into play...
 
SteveMcqueen get real it wouldnt have been close. Because you didnt have a kicker you won the game. You guys scored 20 points today subtract 3 of those points on the 4th and 13 TD because you wouldnt have scored the TD had you had a kicker. No way do they go for a TD in that spot. And the FG Nugent missed he was healthy when he missed it he got hurt on that play the kick was just wide. So because you lost your kicker you got a fluke Td you would of only had 17 points if he isnt hurt and we arent going for the TD at the end of the game. Maybe you would have won anyway but to say it wouldnt of been close is just ignorant. You dont know what your talkin about.
 
Probably would have ended up 17 - 17 and gone to OT. We were close enough for a FG at the end of the game.
 
I felt pretty good with our D-Line but the secondary was something that needs to be addressed. Our offense really let us down imo, I cant really point to any one play or drive but it seamed like something was missing from it. A lot of over/under thrown balls from pennington in the first 3 quarters and the play calling seamed to be really predictable.

Props though to both squads in the 4th quarter for really stepping up to keep the game close.
 
I agree with SarahAnn,something was missing.....I believe we should have gone no huddle all game and worn the Jets defense down with the Miami heat!!!!
