We shot ourselves in the foot.

What adjustments (if hope lingers) would we have to make SPECIFICALLY to have a chance against the Bills in week 3? ...and there are so many....

Get Olivier Vernon a brain transplant? Try running the ball inside like we had success with in 2014, instead of running horrible outside tosses that were getting blown up in the backfield? Take the WR screen out of the playbook. Get Branden Albert some ROIDS or whatever he needs to get back on the field. Replace Walt Aikens with a traffic cone.

I don't know.

ditch Vernon, replace him with Fede.
Bench Aikens, and put in Thomas.
Use Billy Turner at LG
Sign an FA to put at LT
Start using Ajayi more....oh if hes healthy.
Run up the middle more.
Just find Jordan Cameron, Rishard Matthews or Jarvis Landry.
Misi at ILB

Not end the game on five straights punts?

Short quick passes will help against what pressure will come from out Defense.

Where ever Darby it try to get a bigger WR matched up against him he struggles with Size at this point in his career.

Find Rambo or Duke Williams and exploit then. Aaron Williams likely will not be playing after what looked like a horrible neck injury was stretchered out but did just get released from Hospital I doubt he plays this week.

On pass rush be conservative do not rush Past Taylor Ie big looping rushes or he is gonna beat you with his legs.

Sit on the short stuff and make Taylor hit the intermediate and deep stuff.

Take away his 1st read he is slow to come off it.

Account for Clay every play Roman loves him.

penalties have to stop
Team needs to show a sense of urgency to win, especially early.
We have zero running game
We have zero pass rush

At times, I feel like this team is afraid of winning. It wouldn't surprise me if we play really well against Buffalo, as this team has a bad habit of playing up/down to the level of their competition.

Imagine if we would have won...I would have had to listen to a "win is a win" all week again. There are serious issues with this team...time to wake up...

I say bs to that, we got spanked and played horribly in pretty much all phases of the game. Probably won a game we should have lost last week and lost a game we should of lost this week. Next week a butt hurt Bills team might filet us simply by rushing McCoy non stop. Folks, we're in big trouble.

Taylor will eat this defense alive. Good luck covering Harvin and Watkins with Aiken McCain and Taylor. As far as us scoring on Buffalo, good luck to us! I expect 10 pts max.

I don't see it as trouble; I see it as one step closer to getting rid of this coaching staff. I knew that hiring Philbin was a mistake, and Ross has just wasted 4 years on him.

Hooray another wasted year!

Can't even beat the awful jags...

Battle the patsies???

Battle for second place more like.

Too many penalties.

We made plenty of mistakes but so did they. They dropped a ton of passes but overcame their mistakes and got the win.
We were dominated in the trenches and their wideouts beat us up on the outside, particularly in the first half.
We got spanked by a team that's bottom 5 in the league talent wise. Tough pill to swallow.

We are doomed with this OL. And there is really no way to fix it. Albert hasnt been healthy since before last Thanksgiving (no decent backup in sight). Dallas Thomas might be the worst starting OL in the league. Pouncey is very good, but not consistent enough. Douglas, a rookie 5th rd pick, is playing by default. And James is your basic starting NFL RT. Throw in our TE situation with Sims out and, now, Cameron with a groin. It's bad man, really bad.

I think our biggest problem yesterday was Jordan Cameron's injury. As soon as he got hurt we couldn't move the ball. We desperately need him or Sims back next week. If we're stuck with Stoneburner as our only healthy TE next week we're in big trouble.

A healthy Branden Albert would help, as would some discipline on the penalty front.
