are we now believing we are a play-off contender???

Did we find a formula? Are we a pretty good team and just needed to gel some????

Or was that just 1 games of 4 that we will win this year????

if we beat the chargers, i believe we have a realistic shot at competeing for a playoff spot, and a finish of possibly of 9-7 or 10-6.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. One Game, and one play at a time. I dont forsee the playoffs, but it sure is nice not having to wait until week 13 for our first win. Now we can concentrate on our team improving over the course of the season.

this team could very well be a playoff contender. It's not likely,
but if they start ripping off wins like yesterday.... NFL, watch the hell out!!!!

Not reallt getting ahead of myself, but we do have a bye week and will need to fill it with dreams and Hope!!!!

Until we can win a couple in a row, we just don't know. We sure did look the part yesterday. Last week? We looked like we would be picking 1st again.

Personally, I'm not trying to get my hopes up too high.
While we did look excellent yesterday, the Pats looked really really bad. Not only that, but in division games anything can really happen.

I would say that yesterday was a huge win, it was a confidence booster, and it should send us into the bye week with some momentum. However, the win yesterday did not get us a playoff spot, and we still have a long way to go before we can call ourselves "contenders".

Keep on riding Ronnie Brown and we might be up there at the end though...

Just take it one step at a time. We are still in the bottom of the AFC East and it's a looooooooooong way up. Why would you want to start creating unrealistic expectations.
I'am just going to enjoy today, tomorrow will be whatever it wants to be.

Here is what I think, teams who we can beat based on yesterday:

Bal, Sea, LA, Stl, SF, KC and the Bills (@ Miami)

Thats 7-9. When we do face the Chargers, if we win that game, and we beat houston, I think the playoffs have to be considered. Because at that point, if that happens, we are may be facing a 9-7 season. However, until you get to that point, you can not really say we are contenders. One thing I can say for this team, is that the win against the Pats yesterday was a spark. Everything was working yesterday. If that continues, and they keep playing that way, then they can do anything. That can only be done if they play like that consistantly. By week 7 or 8 we should have a more clear picture of what is going to happen. I don't rule out playoffs. You just can't count them in just yet. Lets take this one game at a time before we jump to anything.

Remember the question is if we also beat the Chargers!!!

Lets not get crazy...the MO for a young team is to take a step back after taking 2 steps forward. It was a great win and the catalyst for great things down the road. If we beat the Chargers...I will have a different opinion

don't get me wrong guys, I am still enjoying and loving our victory over the pats, but make no mistake about it...we have a pretty tough schedule still ahead of us...San Diego, Denver, Buffalo x2, New York and the Pats again
