I know the team says veterans can be "growth stoppers" for our young guys, but if we do not bring JT back I for one am gonna be pissssssssseeedddd!!! This is the same JT we had for all those beautiful seasons, he wants to be here, and we know he will be generous about his salary. Lock him up for as long as he wants to play and call it a day. He is a legend and a HOF. And I don't want to hear anything about him getting old and blah blah. Strahan played for a long time and he didn't even go to training camp his last 2 years and still was in playing shape. He has been our best defensive player, one of the best leaders in our locker room, a total class act, and a icon in Miami. He better be back next year or else I will really have a bone to pick with Ireland, Sporano, and especially Parcells.

I wouldn't mind JT taking Porter's spot with Roth on the other side. But next year Wake could do that. The important one to resign is Roth.

something has to be done because our pass rush/pressure has been poor this season...Porter is showing that his cheerleading and singing are much better than his playing ability...while your future young stud(WAKE) SITS ON THE BENCH.

WAKE GETS 2.5 SACKS IN A GAME THEN HAS HIS DEFENSIVE SNAPS REDUCED TO 8 SNAPS AND 2 SNAPS in consecutive games...Not sure how many he had this past Sunday

Rotate JT into the weak side and give Porter some bench time(a lot of bench time)
while Roth and Wake could man the strong side

If your going to pay Bell and Crowder what you did you BETTER pay Roth who actually makes plays

I still am on this bandwagon...I dunno what most of you guys think..but this guy better retire a Miami Dolphin...no matter what

I think he'll be back.
but kick Porter's a@s out the door.
I wouldn't even wait....
You want to leave???? See Ya!!!!

dont bring him back as a Starter if he will come back as a backup fine but i dont want him back as a starter he could easly be replaced in the offseason or through the draft

That's a lot of disrespect to a player that did a lot for this team and is on his way to the HOF. This is a Dolphin Legend. He's not THAT easy to replace.

get over the fact of what he did yes he is a HOF but he isnt the same as he was it would be hard to replace him when he was in his prime but Right now at the level he is playing it wouldnt be hard at all. i respect JT for everything he has done for the dolphins he would be replaced Easly IMO

I have to disagree...for $1.5 million a year...there is no better player and there is no way you can replace his leadership, knowledge, and experience with any other player for that much. No CHANCE!

The problem is that in his HoF years he was playing DE. He didn't play particularly well os an OLB this past season. JT needs to retire or if he wants to stay in Miami, be ready to accept a reduced role.

He still played at a great level this year. Not elite but more than servicable (which is more than we can say about most of our LB core). I think he's good for one more year and he will retire, lets pray for a deep playoff run or even a superbowl to him to retire. After the way we played this year I do not expect a superbowl but I expect a mixed offense and a defense that wont give up a big play but yet make big plays this season. I expect a playoff win this season and that might be enough for me to believe in this franchise. Keep JT until he retires.
