First thing I have to say - The Saints are for real !!!

Yes - I know we lost the game but did any of you even on drugs or alcohol ever thought we would have a 24-10 lead at halftime against the Saints.

We almost won a game against a super-bowl bound team with a mediocre secondary and average receivers. I feel good about that and I also believe that we have a great team in the making.

We have our new Madison and Surtain in Davis and Smith. We have a great defensive front in the making and we need better LB's and safeties.

By the way, I like Henne - that Int to Ginn was not his fault

In my eyes there is no moral victory in football, the only victory that counts is the one that goes into the winning column in the standings .This team lacks killing instincts against good teams as you just witness against the Colts and Saints

There isn't a team in football that has "killer instincts" against the Colts or Saints. They're both undefeated and both games we could've very easily won.

We're a few plays away from winning games like this.

Tell that to the Superbowl champs Pittsburgh Steelers, they had the toughest schedule last year and they knew how to take care of close games against good teams.
I do know that the Dolphins are not the Steelers but you need to finish off teams when you got them down like we fail to do yesterday against the Saints

I'm just glad that we (Saints) don't play until Monday night. It gives us more time to heal our wounds from the most physical game we've played all season. You guys are awesome!

Teams must continually improve to make it to the Superbowl. Your attitude leads to perpetual failures to build a playoff team. Fortunately, you have nothing to do with building a winning football team.

The front office for the Steelers spent considerably more years than two building their roster. It takes time to get the right players in place. Our front office makes the correct decisions. Our coaching staff does a good job developing and maximizing talent. I am glad you are holding the Dolphins organization to a high standard, but I do not believe you are being realistic.

We had every chance to win this football game and not only did we lose it we embarrassed ourselves. There is definitely no silver lining here. If your goal is to compete with good teams and then lose congratulations. If the Saints came and played great ball for 4 quarters and we stayed with them I might be ok with that, but they played bad for most of the first half. They played Ok in the 3rd quarter, then lights out in the 4th. So basically the Saints played about a quarter of football and beat us. That is pathetic. I won't say we are a terrible team, but changes need to be made if we are ever going to be a super bowl contender. And I don't mean just players. We have problems in the coaching staff as well.

Thank you for the thread, I completely agree with you. We were on the brink of knocking 2 undefeated teams off the Colts & Saints. I HATE the way we lost but to be in it w/a QB making his 3rd start and our best CB out makes me pretty excited for what's to come and feel that we can still salvage this season.
