No real holes to speak of I guess as far as quantity goes. We don't have any terrible starters imo. We are in good position to stay at 11 and draft the best on the board are we not?

If the four quarterbacks go in the top 10 as anticipated, Miami will have some nice choices. One of Roquan Smith, Quinton Nelson or Denzel Ward will likely slip to #11. Plus, Derwin James could be there.

With the offseason additions on the offensive line, I doubt the team would go Nelson if he's there. Smith makes a ton of sense, but is also smaller than Miami likes. Ward doesn't quite fit the size the Dolphins like either, but maybe they make an exception based on his talent.

I also wonder if Derrius Guice is in play with the recent signing of Frank Gore. Guice strikes me as someone who could really make the running game go, a lot like Ajayi did two years ago. Guice, Gore and Drake would be nice.

Vita Vea or Da'Ron Payne would make a lot of sense as well as replacements for Suh.

Maybe Rashaan Evans at linebacker would be in the conversation as well. Lots of choices.

I think Quenton Nelson is a pipe dream. I think Derwin James at 11 or maybe Tremaine Edmunds. I have watched film on Roquan Smith and he is athletic and can flow to the ball, but I don't see the crazy athleticism that warrants the hype. Ideally, I would want to trade down and acquire more picks. With James, I think we can definitely do this. With Edmunds, I am not so sure.

There are the big names of Nelson, Smith, James, and Edmunds. But the guy I really like has come out of the middle rounds and now, I think, is going to be selected in 1st - Leighton Vander Esch. There is just something about him when I watch him on tape. He moves effortlessly. He can play the middle or on the outside. I think we could drop back in the 1st, get some more picks, and acquire him at around 17 or 18, but I don't think we could go lower than 20 - if that low.

Love the idea of trading down and getting Vander Esch.

Love me some LVE! I think Dallas is probably his floor. His speed and burst are something, but his agility - particularly for his size - is just as special. He's a complete and dominant athlete, and his instincts are very underrated. People note Edmunds' improvement throughout the season, but if you watch LVE's game against Oregon, it's about as good as it gets.

To put his athleticism into context, this is how he compares to the most athletic pass rusher in the 2018 Draft (keeping in mind that DE and 3-4 OLB tend to be the most athletic players on the field - along with CB).

I watched a lot of film on James he would make a great coverage LB but he's not good at shedding blocks maybe they can coach this. Edmunds is the one I'm most comfortable with but something about Esch screams I'm going to wreck you and your gameplan, pick me. He looks really good right?

It would be nice to get an additional second round pick. I think the run on tight ends and running backs is going to happen there. Even with Gore aboard, I'd like to see Miami get one of the top running backs.

I think you can even get a good RB in the fourth. You could get Sonny Michel or Nick Chubb in the 3rd. Maybe not the top guys, but good backs. John Kelly will probably go in the late 3rd, early 4th.

Most of our LBs (no idea about McMillan) and TEs are terrible, DTs are questionable, and we don't have a FS. And LBs, which must be reiterated. Also no true alpha WR, but can't really address that in this draft, IMO.
