Dont get me wrong, I think this draft has been solid so far, I think Ireland has done a decent job, but I would rather have taken a different route with our 2nd and 3rd picks. Massie is still available, so we should have taken vinny curry in the 2nd, ruben randle and bobby massie in the 3rd, then we could have taken egnew, ladarius green, or orson charles in the 4th, my draft would have looked like this:

1. Ryan Tannehill
2. Vinny Curry
3. Ruben Randle
3. Bobby Massie

I just think this would have been the better route

Yeah...if we had a crystal ball. Clearly Martin was a first round talent or I'm sure it would have been curry. This is the best draft I have seen in a long time and we haven't picked 4-7. We filled needs with great value,I for one am very pleased

I like Jeff's draft better. Yours is not awful, but I like Jeff's.

We have had a good draft so far after like 10 years of aweful drafts... why isn't that enough to at least be optimistic for once?

Randle went to the giants at the end of round 2 so no he wouldnt have been there for our 3rd round pick. But i agree with u on curry and massie. Then with our other 3rd instead of randle we could have got sanu or brought in brandon taylor to start at safety

l'm still not over that we could have had Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Willis :idk:

i can't argue with that...curry and massie i'd feel better about where we stand right now...vernons got talent but oh so raw and martin needs to live in a weight room and work his upper body...and develop a initial punch

Fox, as usual I agree with you. While I still despise Jeff Ireland, I thinks he's done well so far. The Egnew pick could have been a little later but he has a high ceiling coming into the league. Now I'm hoping we get some receivers we can develop.

I've heard there were questions whether or not Massie was bright enough to pick up a complex offense. That is why he has dropped so far.

We also could have drafted Tom Brady and Rodgers and Brees so here we go again. Fact is we don't know yet if we've made the right picks or not.......funny how we keep saying, "we should get this guy, he's still out there".....well, guess what, all the other teams have not taken him either. Could it be that he's not as good as we think?

Ozzy rules!!

You've got to wonder why Massie is still on the board. Is there something we don't know about? Talent-wise it's hard to believe he is still available. I would have loved for Miami to trade back and get Curry, but I do love the Martin pick. With Long and Martin protecting the qb that's a huge strength for us and Martin was projected by just about all the experts to go round 1. The only pick I'm not sure about is Vernon and whether he can become the pass rusher we so desperately need.

I also think they would have gone pass rusher in the 2nd but Martin fills position of need with good value. I'm pleased with our draft so far.
