We Could Still Have Cam..........

I like Sparano, i really do, but his clock management skills with today and the Jets game are driving me INSANE.

No Cam...Id rather have Spam...ok poor attemped at a rhyme. But you know this was a tough texan team. That Lost there games againts the Colts and Titans. They were hungry and scrappy. The blame IMO goes to the secondary....we may want to look out there in free agency or really focus on this in the off season.
 
I think he is talking about the careless usage of timeouts and that challenged call that cost us another timeout. Some people also think we scored too fast in the 4th but seriously, I am of the "Score fast and often" persuasion.
 
I really hope they introduce him next Sunday, I will boo so loudly, I wouldn't be able to speak the rest of the game

Well clock management in terms of conservation and usage of timeouts. In the Jets game they used two time outs with 12 minutes left, and had only 50 seconds to get the winning score at the end there with no time outs left.

In today's game they had 3 time outs and the ball with 50 seconds left at the end of the half, after they had called a timeout to stop the clock (but the refs gave it back to them) and get the ball back, and they just run it out. I understand doing that with 1 timeout left, but all 3? I mean come on maybe you can get SOMETHING with 3 time outs and left. What's the point of saving them?

Then in the second half they used one with 12 minutes or so left and then another when they made the stupid decision to challenge a spot that was correct. Two timeouts gone leaving us with none at the end of the game when we could have been using them for A. our own drive (which we didn't need) or B. to use to save clock for another final drive since the Texans were going to score.

I don't know.....
 
I think Sparano has the chance of being this teams next Shula. But as I've posted on another thread It sure looked like the good old prevent us from winning defense
