It’s no secret that this franchise does not draft, sign, recognize or retain the best talent in the NFL. They love the previously injured, aged out, career spent types that have little if any left in the tank. The young talent they do possess (which is small) never get a chance to assert themselves.
I’m here to tell you right now if Achane survives his time in Miami he will be a great player for some fortunate team and fan base…that is if he does not get injured from overuse in Miami and out of the league first. He can be a very effective weapon if used correctly…I see GB doing that with Brooks

I was so mad when they let him go.......our WR's are all small.......our RB's are all small too but Brooks was different and yet we let him go. I guess we just don’t like hard-nose players.....Mike only cares about speed
I didn’t like the Brooks cut either. I actually would have preferred him to Ingold.

Brooks is a power back, not something McGenius is interested in. I loved Brook's upside and tough running style...again "tough" is not something McGenius is interested in.

How about we gave Wright one carry yesterday. Last few weeks he’s been getting one to two carries a game. We keep running ACHANE up the middle. McDaniel is Simple Jack!!!! You know the saying. You never go full ……..

Hard to believe the Dolphins led the NFL in YPC carry last year, we look like the worst rushing team in football right now. Can't be all Austin Jackson.

I think it came down to Jeff Wilson and Brooks and McDaniel was more comfortable with keeping Wilson.
I don't think Brooks would have changed much of what is going on at the moment, but it looks like we could have used him at times this season.

Exactly! Man, some of these people on here. The dude was injured here and would have been injured again running behind this line.

The guards are terrible. Brewer is a good pass blocking center but to expect him to blow NT's off the ball is a stretch. Couple that with low quality depth and a LT that is injury-prone and you have yourself a mess! But if you ask Grier and McGenius...they're fine.
