We didn' make the top 10 WR corp list

yea not surprised considering we have Chambers nad Booker who in my mind could be #1s. Booker has shown he could still play but is always lost in our offense for some reason.

Everyone clearly in a "show me" mode where it concerns Chambers, Booker and Ginn.

Looks like Calvin Johnson was the only rookie good enough to get his team on the list, with the help of Roy Williams and another 1000 yard receiver. So, it isn't surprising that Ginn doesn't boost Miami onto that list.

Personally, I think the Colts should be #1, and the Cardinals right below them. I don't think Denver or Carolina should be on the list, and the Jets deserve mention for their tandem of Coles and Cotchery.

They have a lot of respect for Steve Smith. Deserves it.

I argue that Steve Smith is a 'core'. That's retarded, he's awesome, but he's one buy and it's not fair to see Steve solo is almost as good as Indy's entire WR core? Ah no.

Our receivers will have to prove it on the field to earn any high rating. Past performance doesn't merit a high rating.

I personally would put the Cardinals above the Bengals. Can't argue with us not being up there, this time next year though it will be a different story I believe.

I agree. The only change to our WR corp was losing Wes Welker, and adding Ted Ginn (who probably won't start at WR right away anyway)......so our WR rating should be based on last years performance, which was definitely not top 10. I think this group has the potential to be up in that top 10-15 range, but they definitely need to prove it on the field.

Like CK said... we're in a wait-and-see mode, but now we have a healthy, accomplished QB that can get the WRs the ball consistently.

I expect Chambers to bounce back with Green tossing him the rock. If he doesn't have another pro-bowl type season, he should be a solid #1.

Marty often disappears during games, but... the guy just makes plays. He led all the WRs in yards, yards per completion, and TDs last year. Whether he ultimately gets traded before or during camp is anyone's guess, but if he's here, he's a role-player, and a darn good one. He's our best WR after the catch.

Ginn is good for, at the very least, the threat of going deep. However, who knows how much he'll see the field? He's a rookie. 'Nuff said.

Hagan is intriguing. There is lots of good news about him from the OTAs. Cam apparently sees something special in him. He's really dedicated himself in the offseason, so we'll see if all his hard work pays off. He very well could overtake Marty.

So, the potential is definitely there to have a great set of WRs this season, and more importantly, a BALANCED group of wideouts. Each guy brings something different to the line of scrimmage. Plus, we can't discount Lorenzo out of the backfield and Ronnie's tremendous hands.

We could be very, very good. Maybe great. Maybe bad... who knows?

The Fins breakout WR just might be Derek Hagan. Based on how he looked at camp, I don't know how he doesn't start, he looks that good so far.

p.s. pm me your address and i'll mail the autograph out.

I think the colts should be #1 on that list, 2- the cardinals, then the 3-Bengals.

Yeah, with Ginn we have the potential to be top 10, but we're definitely not there now. Chambers probably isn't a top 10 reciever in the league, but he's definitely top 25, making him a viable #1 guy. I agree that Booker is solid, but he's not a guy that defenses plan for or worry about. He does make the most out of his opportunities and plays consistently, but he's not a game changer by any stretch. He's an ok #2 like CHambers is an ok #1. There really isn't anyone else on our roster who has proven anything. Campbell and Hakim have been around, but it's hard to expect much out of them and the other guys are young. Ideally, Ginn comes on within a year or so and we have sort of a 1A and 1B with him and Chambers. We could really stretch the field with those 2 and it would be hard to give safety help on both. Either Booker or Hagan can be the more inside, short intermediate guy. It's definitely encouraging.
