There is some idea going around that we would have to "start over" again in order to fix the problem that we have a terrible coaching staff. Thats just not true. Have a look at this............

Here's what you do

Hire Charlie Weis as OC. Weis is a Parcells guy and everyone knows the guy can do a nice job in the NFL running an offense.

Now, we cant hire Weis as HC but, we damn sure need a new HC. Weis dosent have any experience as a HC except on the college level. So you may ask....."But, WV, who can we get that has coaching experience and dosent put us in a position to overhaul the team?" Glad you asked. Simple answers.

There are 2 men available. Both have HC experience in the NFL. Both have DC experience in the NFL. Both have worked with Parcells. Both believe in the same defensive philosophy. This is KEY.

This way WE DO NOT have to completely change the personel on defense, which we all know can take years to do. No. We can still run Parcell's 3-4. We can pick up right where we leave off with the personel moves. We can address the need to upgrade this coaching staff and still stay on the same plane we are on as far as upgrading the talent on the roster. We can keep the same path, only not have complete morons who cant manage the game on the sidelines.

The answers........Romeo Crennel and Al Groh. I would take either one as HC and either one as DC. Both have coached in this league before. Both know wtf they are doing. The job is not above either one.

And before you say Groh sucked....I always thought the guy was a decent HC. And if you dont want him, let him be DC. He can do a good job.

Then let Romeo be the HC. And before you tell me he sucked in Cleveland....WHO DIDNT SUCK IN CLEVELAND??? Seriously.

And let me leave you with this nugget. There once was a guy who coached in Cleveland and sucked. He was a DC for BP before coaching in Cleveland. Well, he GOT ANOTHER CHANCE with a real NFL organization. One AFC EAST team hiring him and a Michigan QB later, he is regarded as one of the best coaches in the history of the league.

HIRE ROMEO!!! HIRE GROH!!!!!!! HIRE WEIS!!!!!!!

Keep building the roster the way we have. Dont change defensive philosophies. Pick up right where we leave off, only without total ****ing Morons running these games, calling the plays, making the adjustments, and KILLING US on gamedays.

I don't know about Crennel or Groh, but I sure would love Weis here. Definitely have Crennel for defensive coordinator. Keep Sparano.

Actually I think Weis is more of a a Bellichick guy. He followed Bellichick out of NY over to New England and was a critic of Parcells after the move.

The reality is that Sparano won't get fired. He took a 1-15 team to 11-5 and the playoffs. The Dolphins have played the toughest schedule and have not fared that badly. They have lost to the 2 best teams in close ball games with a young team. Bottom line is, although many of us would like to see Sparano gone, ain't gonna happen.

As for Henning, unless he wants to retire (I hope), he'll be back as well. He and Parcells are attached at the hip. Paulie P is another Parcells guy so don't look for him to go. Unless these guys quit, retire or accept offers elsewhere, we are stuck with them until Parcells leaves.

You also forget to mention knowing other teams play calls aswell for all those years ;)

If what you say is true then we need to get Parcells' sorry *** out of there too. Id rather completely overhaul(even though Id much rather just change the staff this way) again than deal with these Morons any longer.

New coordinators I am all for.

Sparano has done a fine job so far (overall) and I am still behind him.

Sparano is fine, kids are motivated, but the truth is Pasquani sucks, and so does Hening, playcalling has been absurd on both sides of the ball

I like this coaching staff......Henning time is coming to an end and I would let him retire at the end of the season, I would promote or WR coach as OC.....time to bring in some new blood when it comes to how to run our offense, lets stop recycling guys....I would also hire AL Groh, once he is fired, as a defensive asst. were he can help Pasq game plan and spend additional time with our rookie corners and after our draft, our rookie LBers.....no need to overhall the coaching staff 1yr and a half into it....lets give them more time than that...../

**** letting Mike Holmgren go to Cleveland.....

If I was Ross....I'd tell Bill Parcells to take his 1985 NFC East philosophy and go pound ****ing pavement....and take his cast of AARP characters with him....

I'd rather have Holmgren in here and have him in Parcells capacity and let him put together a staff that knows what's going on.....

LOL. I guess its that great job he did in Seatle that makes you think this........I mean look at all that talent they have over there after his years there.....LOL......I hope Holmgren goes to Buffalo instead of Shannahan.....Shannahan is probably the only coach out there that has a winning record agaist Parcells and Belicheat......or close to it........

LOL Holmgren....................................

OC needs replacing. I'm willing to let our young D grow a bit under Paul. I'm still in Sparano's corner for now...but he NEEDS to question the 4th quarter heart of this team at some point. It's like he promised his team he wound never publically call them out and is afraid to say anything bad about them.

I would contend Im the biggest dolfan and sorest loser when it comes to phins losing.

However the idea that this team would get better by firing Sparano is a joke and any fan here saying so is an idiot and probably wanted to keep Cam Cameron.

I am sick of losing and agree these loses hurt, but stepping back and looking at the total picture the reality is that the QB that led this team to an 11-5 record was lost in week 3.

There is still serious needs at 4-5 positions WR/S/NT/TE & ILB the fact that the team has kept itself in playoff compitition after losing its starting QB & RB starting LG,C NT and starting CB to me is a testiment to Tony Sparano.

As for the OC & DC I have been supporters but perhaps am open minded to the idea that changes maybe needed especially in the dc area the stat that deeply concerns me is the league leading statistic where miami leds the NFL in 4th qrt points allowed(insinuates to me that schematically miami is getting decoded)this would be a consideration for change in my opinion.

Firing Sparano is not an option
