we dont need to spend more money on receivers,,,I dont even want them to sign Kelley Cambell we can get a speedster in the draft or even after the June cuts. Im glad that we are trying to get a play maker at LB. What are some good speed receivers that can stretch the field either the draft or free agency.
 
So we dont need a WR, but instead of signing a cheap, experienced option at that position, we should use one of our few draft picks on one?

Bro I respect your opinion, however we need a good third wide receiver to give us the advantage when we go to that in our package. Also in case of injury we need someone who can easily step right in and fill in for our starters. There will be a drop off but it can't be a huge drop off for us to be successful.:wink:
 
then why even waist money at all on kelly cambell and just bring in a undrafted player. Im sure they want Kelly to replace Gilmore,,I just think if they do feel we need another receiver then why not a speed gut like Moss from UM.

Or Just sign Kelly Campbell-Free Agent
 
I think campbell is here for special teams and maybe to play the 4th Wr when they go 4 wide. I think our future 3rd Wr is on our team right now in Fred Gibson. He has the skills to be a good one i only hope he is given the chance to perform and stay heathly.
 
Do you think they will go WR in 1st round or DEF.

I wonder what Nate Burleson is demanding. He is better option then Kelley Cambell.

Make up your mind, dude! Do we not need a WR or do we need a better WR then Kelly Campbell?

You say we dont need a WR, but you want us to sign Burleson or draft one in Round 1?
 
i think Burelson stinks. One year wonder and if we don't draft a safety or cb with that 1st rd pick no matter where the pick end up being even if we do trade up., it be foolish to risk it on a wr or anything else but scondary help seeing that all we picked up this offseason were dime / nickel backs

nate burelson is also a restricted free agent. meaning we give up 3rd for him. i personally dont want to see anymore draft picks traded.
 
Every team needs 3 quality receivers capable of starting, a 4th WR who can become a 3rd WR. Right now, we are set for starters, but we lack any depth at all. Welker is a tough football player, but he's too small to be an effective target in the passing game. Think about this. Suppose Chambers sprained an ankle, and had to miss a month. As of right now, Wes Welker would be in the starting lineup. That's too much of a dropoff. Kelley Campbell isn't the answer. There's a reason why no team picked him up last season. WR is definitely a need for the Dolphins.
 
Besides Chambers and Booker, the five receivers on the roster have a combined 32 career catches. 29 of them belong to Welker. IMO, we need a little more depth than that.
