Cowboys and Redskins lose $46 million in cap space

The Redskins will lose $36 million in cap room and Dallas will lose $10 million. The NFL took their cap space away for front-loading contracts in 2010 and taking immediate cap hits during a year with no salary cap. Every team with the exception of the Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints will receive $1.6 million.

Seems like they were just being smart. I dont get it?

nice, if we restrcute some contracts we could have close to $20 million to spend

More than that! We have like 16-15 million and if we make some cuts we can save up to 12 mil. I don't think we will but I can see us saving about 7 million with cuts and restructuring some contracts can save up to about five million. That's about 28 million if it goes out how I plan

Note that the Redskins and Rams trade isn't official till tomorrow. This might make the Redskins back off from the trade now.
