We're sitting back and watching the better candidates go by the wayside. We had better reel in Nolan as he's the best available guy now. Does Sparano have a bad rep around the league? Is it why other candidates would not sign with Miami??
 
Wow relax. Because we let all the "better candidates go" we may be able to get the best one of them all...Nolan

How many others chose not to sign that you know the Dolphins contacted? All I've heard is just one of them (dude from Pittsburgh).

Actually I have read many conflicting reports that Butler or Groh was never offered a contract. Not sure how it actually went down.

I only know of two on my list, one is the guy in pittsburg who pretty much has the D spot up there locked up when the current D retires. And al groh(sp?) and as far as I know, nobody in the forums really wanted him anyway. (overrated comes to mind). :)
