and last year at this time We had 3 new starters in Brown, Crowder, Daniels. We got immediate impact from last years draft class and none this year. I think Toledo may have started until he went on IR. The rest of them WELL THE JURYS OUT ON THEM.

Most teams dont get 3 starters from every draft.....

Allen will be a starter by years end and Hagan was never going to be the 1 or 2 guy this year. Fred Evans has completely exceeded our expectations as a 7th rounder.

Id say we did fine.

Most rookies don't start their first year. Carson Palmer was the #1 pick in 2003 and didn't play at all his first season. He turned out great. Have some patience.

Wow, two weeks into the season and they haven't started a game!?
I expected at least two players to have had MVP seasons by now and J. Allen to be in the hall of fame. What a bunch of busts, let's kill them.

Other than being Captian Obvious, here are some questions:

Do you want Hagan starting? Do you think a WR was a bad pick

1st - Whats the percentage of Safeties that start in their first few games or first year....And can you give the guy a aminute considering he was practicing at another position
2nd - on a starter in a trade
3rd - stated above
4th - Injured
5th - Supp
6th - Traded
7th - How often does that happen?

You know, I'm not big on all of the negativity and digging for random things to hate on Saban about(since were 0-2), but I have felt since the draft we didn't go BPA. Greenway would have been an instant impact(assuming he wasnt injured like in minn) It would also appear that 3rd rd pick would have been better utilized at OL or CB considering we are deepest at WR.

Daniels and Crowder were starters because our regular starters got hurt.

Poole was supposed to be 1 starter and Madison the other, and Crowder got in beacuse of Seau's injury...

Brown was an obvious starter because of Ricky's status.

This years draft needs more time.

The better your team is, the less likely it is for rookies to start. As I believe Alex mentioned earlier, Hagan was not being counted on to be a starter this year, only to provide depth.

That leaves Allen, who has been a disappointment. Other than that, you can't expect anyone lower than a 3rd round pick to start his rookie year.

And if you want to argue semantics, you could say Duante Culpepper is starting since he basically was our 2nd round pick.

That happened last year because Saban had to get the Wanny/Speil garbage out of there. They may not have started under normal circumstances.
