Maybe we can package Grant + another receiver and player for a decent OL? Wishful thinking....

I want the Dolphins to target the Minnesota Mountain, Daniel Faalele (6'9 380 Lbs) in this 2022 Draft. You see, I subscribe to the Planet Theory! There are only so many guys on the planet who can move as he does. But, I would put him at Guard. He would not have to worry about the speedy edge rushers at guard and he would be a Nightmare for every Defensive Line, drive blocking them into the Twilight Zone! And then draft a Tackle and Center and fix this for Good!

We have the option to move Zach Thomas to RT in case of injury
Zach Thomas is too old and too small to play RT but he still might be better than some of the offensive linemen on the roster now. I just don’t think he’s ready to come out of retirement at this time.

I'm ready to suit up if need be.

They said he was too small to play LB too. You can't measure a mans heart...not a live man at least.

Oline cohesion takes 4-6 games. The early part of the season is brutal and our oline is marginally up to the task.
If we can go 3-2 in the first 5 games, we can go on a run the final 12, going 8-4.
I think we have the pieces to have a very good oline. They just need more game experience together.

Winning makes everything better. If we win the confidence will help the OL tremendously. If we lose games they might fall apart. It’s that simple.

So do you think it would’ve been better if we drafted Sewell?

It is but I wish for it too
The wishful thinking surrounding the moving of Grant is just that - wishful. Turns out, the WR 6 spot was his to lose all along. I’ll keep the 2 games per year he helps us win w field-flipping plays and / or a return TD thank you. We traded for 2 OL + we drafted 37 of them in the last 3 years. Coach them up.

No. From what I have seen so far, I am happy with Waddle. He seems to have that ability to get quick separation and YAC, which will, hopefully, pay higher dividends for Tua and our offense. To be competitive this year with teams like Buffalo, we are going to have to score points.

Despite all their issues, the starting oline only gave up 1 sack on Tua the entire preseason and 0 on Brissett. Sinnett was sacked 6 times, but I don't think those were given up by any of the main core of the oline.

You'll get the same level OL trying to trade a niche WR for one.

Gotta give up quality to receive quality. Either by overpaying in FA or trading a premium pick for one, the rare times they are available. Or having a mid level first and taking the can't miss guard that pops up from time to time.
