Carolina has Steve Smith. The Giants, Tiki Barber. Then Falcons, Vick. Guys who single handedly change the face of a game. Who the opposition knows.. is a legitimate threat every single time he touches the field. Guys teams FEAR. Guys that PRODUCE in the clutch. Always reliable.. where a dropped pass is a rarity, not the norm... eludes double teams and stacked fronts.

We DO NOT have a single player on the offense that produces week in and week out CONSISTENTLY year after year. We have no identity. We have no personality. We have no-one we know can come through or at least give a fighting chance.

Chambers makes some nice grabs.. but he scares no-one. McMichael the same. Ronnie the same. We just dont have a gamebreaker.:fire:

You're right, we don't. Face it, players like that are few and far between. And they cost so much it is hard to afford to build a team around them with the salary cap to deal with.

It's hard for us to build around players because the front office sucks at managing the cap. New England has two first round picks and enough cap space to rebuild there team in 1 off-season.

Add to that the only impact player we have on defense is Jason Taylor and his impact is minimized in a 3-4 alignment

We havent pulled out of the cap hell that the desperation of Spielman and Wannstedt put us into....Saban has been diligent in not overpaying players. I know we aren't winning now, but this sort of fiscal reponsibility will serve the Dolphins well in the future.

Calvin Johnson. That would be a heck of a pickup.

Problem is that we need Oline and DB REAL bad too. We are so bad at DB it's pathetic. This draft will be filled with tough decisions. I don't think you can leave Calvin on the board though. The guy is a superstar.

good point that needs to be emphasized as much as possible while we go through this tough transition

We have JT on defense.

Ricky in 02 and 03
Chambers last year.

But think about it, Chambers didnt become our gamebreaker until week 13!!!
Ronnie had a great game last week even tho the jets run d sucks. I think that will give him some confidence for the rest of the year. much like the chambers 238 yard game.

Calvin Johnson would be killer!! I know we say Chris Chambers is a gamebreaker but lets not forget his dropped pass was one of Harringtons intercetions. If our O-Line could open holes Ronnie might become one but right now no one knows.

When Daunte gets back to full strength we will have 3 game breakers. Daunte, Ronnie, and CC.

Either Calvin Johson or Ted Ginn in the draft would make me happy.

Daunte.. hasn't proven he is a game breaker in a Dolphin uniform. Ronnie IS NOT a game breaker. One game here or there isn't a gamebreaker. Barry Sanders got number behind some of the worst lines in history. And Ricky would've converted that 4th down try last week.CC made it to the probowl last here. But he has never done it consistently every year, every week. Don't feed me garbage against QBs for CC failures. Yesterday was a perfect example of Chambers. Oops dropsies! Bigtime players make plays no matter who is blocking, no matter who is throwing the ball.

The Bears are probably the best team in football now. We don't have a single player that would start on their team. Maybe JT, that's it imo. Gamebreakers, we don't got none.
