I know we all are really disappointed that Daunte didn't light things up and we all got hooked on all the preseason hype on how our Fins were going to compete for a Superbowl this season but anyone watching this team knows now this is not a championship calidber team.

I think it's smart to see if Joey has matured and could possibly be our future starter. I have no idea what we do with Daunte if Joey shines but considering how things have played out so far we have nothing to lose. We are not going to make the playoffs so lets all not try and fool ourselves.

He has better chemistry with the offense then C-Pep did too.

oooh no not a 5th rounder...i mean its not like we wasted a second rounder on him

Except for a 5th round pick.

Yeah, but it isn't exactly a lost pick.....especially if Joey is playing well.

ouch:sidelol: :sidelol: :sidelol:

I agree....give Joey a shot. DC will hopefully regain some of his mobility but obviously getting sacked 20+ times in 3 games is not getting it done....partially DC's fault and partially our o-lines.

Who said anything about wasting a pick? He said we have nothing to lose and I corrected him. Way to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Maybe it should have been done 3 games ago?????

We saw Daunte struggle for how many weeks before they make a change..???
Now...it is a little bit to late????

It will be Joey for the rest of this season and Daunte for the future unless Harrington leads the team to a winning record.

After watching Joey play against New England I see alot of untapped talent in the kid. I can't wait to see what he looks like with a full week of practice under his belt. Joey Harrington has a huge upside and I think he will continue to improve every week. Really excited about watching this kid play much more so than Daunte at this point in time.

Wouldn't it be awesome if he ended playing like a legitimate top five pick, he would be our qb of the future and not Daunte.

It's a good thing that none of you are the head coach. Otherwise everyone on this team would be cut or benched. Most people on this site root for players that are on the bench. You believe the grass is greener on the other side. You believe we have a Tom Brady somewhere on our bench. What happens when Joey losses to the jets? Are we gonna start seeing post asking for Cleo Lemon? You people know jack about football, and building a championship team. Culpepper might need more time to heal. But he's the best QB we have. Your all dreaming if you think Joey's gonna be the future of this franchise.
