I was just looking at the schedule. We have only two cold weather games scheduled. Cleveland on 11/20 and The Pats on New Years Day! I think this should provide us an advantage! At Buffalo this weekend should be great weather.

We all thought we got screwed by the schedule makers. Instead we may have been blessed!

Last year, in October, the weather up here for the 'Phins game was hooooooorrible. I've been to Winter games that were warmer. Cold, windy, rainy... ugh!

This year is SUPPOSED to be better, but we'll see. The best we can hope for is low 60's, partly cloudy, according to the weather folks up here.

I dont know if travelling to an opponents stadiums should be considered an advantage... but the weather is defiantely playing into our favour.

wellll looked who just showed up....I mean...the schedule was released in what....April right before the draft....lol. just kiddin man

The weather might favour those teams a whole but you cant forget about what Ricky did in that stow storm in buffalo!

This does help us out, however, good teams will win in any weather.

I will be at that game vs Cleveland and I can't wait for it. I love the Browns but I think no matter what the weather is the Phins will walk all over them.

I wouldn't be so happy with the schedule-makers if I were you. We may have pulled only two cold-weather games, but we were the second-worst team in the NFL last season yet we have THE toughest schedule in the NFL and that is a fact.

How is our schedule the toughest? Wouldn't New England have a much tougher schedule than us?

Not too mention that I think there is a stretch where we travel to and from the west coast for three or four consecutive weeks. Also, I believe we play Baltimore @ Baltimore in DEC./JAN. Right? That should be a pretty cold game as well.

No, we play New Englad twice, they play us twice. That means their strength of schedule is less than ours. Of course, this is based off of last year's standings when the Jets, Bills, an dother teams were stronger. Technically though, we had the toughest strength of schedule coming into the season, despite our last place finish last year.

that's only true because we don't play our 4-12 selves. It is OUR record that drags the others in our division down because they play US twice. Someone yesterday said only two games are affected by schedule, the rest are already fixed by a schedule that can be predicted for years. Therefore, there is no conspiracy to give us anything pertaining to schedule...luck of the draw.

No because we have to play the 2-time defending super bowl champs twice and they have to play a 4-12 team twice.
