If the cards fall right for Tua First- Chance Young 2nd overall! Would you guys be ok starting out like that?

UM, yeah!

I doubt they land both the #1 and #2 picks. The odds aren't good for both. Hypothetically, if they land both, it would be hard to pass on a trade down for a team that wants to trade up for let's say Justin Herbert.

That said, I'd love to see the Dolphins end up with their QB and a legit pass rusher in Chase Young.

But to end up with Chase Young, I think a more likely scenario is the Dolphins bypassing a QB this draft and trading down to stockpile more picks then using part of that capital to trade up to the spot where they can guarantee landing him (using their 2nd 1st rounder of course).

To end up with the QB and Chase Young, they'd have to spend a lot of their draft capital to trade up from where ever PITT's 1st rounder ends up (possibly somewhere around 10-15), as Chase will be a top 5 pick. Maybe even #2.

Hypothetically, if the fins like Herbert or Fromm or Love or whoever far more than Tua, they could pull a trade off with someone else in the top 5-10. It would probably net a ransom.

I’m not exactly enamored with Tua, especially after seeing the video where his parents say the dad beat him with a belt for having bad games all the way through high school. There is something damaging and off about that, even though it isn’t Tua’s fault.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if they trade down from our pick with the plan of NOT getting a QB this year. Load up at edge, Ol, CB while getting even more capital for 2021.

Regardless, I will strongly support whoever they choose to be the QB for next year, whether it is a rookie, Rudock, or Rosen. As long as it isn’t Fitz

Never heard about that, but yeah, that kind of thing changes a persons psyche.

I prefer to pass on Tua, as well. If another team wants him, and they will, make them pay.

Sorry to say, but if we have the number 1 pick, its gonna be for the guy they had in sight when they agreed to tank.

Really hope we land Tua but I have a feeling it just doesn’t happen for whatever reason (he returns for senior year, we draft Herbert anyways, his father says he won’t play for Miami). And if we don’t get Tua I’m drafting Chase Young and tanking again next year for Lawrence/Fields

So we could potentially land Tua and the top 3 trio. That would be insane and I know I’m probably dreaming

Having the Steelers and Texans 1st rounders next year makes this season so much more interesting. Can you imagine the haul if the Texans fall apart and all 3 of our picks end up being in the top 10? That's the type of stuff that will turn the franchise around on a dime.

Ruggs is one I really like and I think we should consider. Ended up topping at 24.3 mph on this run, Julios td against the eagles was 20 mph

and grab Waddle next year for the slot..Hell yes..

That video does worry me. His dad is trying to live his own dreams thru his son. His son is a person and not a toy. I wonder how much Tua loves to play football. Not saying he doesn't but he's always done whatever his dad wants him to do. In order to lead his team he's gonna have to be his own man. I'd love to draft a QB with his skill but this FH/Coaching staff better do a great and total homework on this kid and his family before they draft him.

One possibility is to draft Love and another is to draft Desmond Ritter if Miami does not feel comfortable with Tua?
