Based on records of teams from last season, the Dolphins have the toughest schedule in the NFL this season. Their opponents are a combined 136-120, a .531 winning percentage. That includes seven games against teams that made the playoffs last season.

Arizona has the second-toughest schedule, its opponents having a 134-122 record last season.

I seem to recall that we were all psyched about the schedule when it came out, and I still feel that way in light of this statistic. I acknowledge the truth there, but I understand that a lot of teams that did well last year will do less well this year. It's just the nature of the NFL in this salary cap era.
