This is why I think TO's issue is legitimate with Philly. TO and Boston both signed last summer with big upsides. After one year, TO outplayed his contract and Boston underperformed. Now Boston can't find a team to even give him the minimum after being cut, yet TO is considered selfish for wanting to renegotiate. These deals are all essentially one year deals. If the team can drop you for underperforming then you should be able to renegotiate for overperforming.
