More Joe post purchase reinforcement beyond Fisher, his control issues and his hiring of the putrid Schottenheimer Jr.

Just breaking, the league will be coming down hard on everyone involved in the Saints Bounty incentive program from 09-11, actually rewarding defenders for opponents being carted off the field. Allegedly this was run by Gregg Williams, now Fishers DC. Sheffler was just saying that the sanctions will be very heavy and heaviest not on the players but on the coaches and administrators. Look for Fisher to be hustling for another DC pretty damn fast. Love it!

Screw what the NFL thinks. If I heard my team was that gangster id be loving it thats the culture we are missing down here. If you have the ball youre getting knocked out.

the jury is still out on philbin as HC, although i am optimistic based on what i have seen so far. regardless, i think fisher turning us down will turn out to be to our benefit once this whole thing shakes out.

Yeah with the combination of the Saints in hot water and their front office low balling Brees, maybe he wises up and ditches that scummy organization. Lol watch us pass on him for a 3rd time if he ever were to become available.

Both sides worst case scenario.. he'll be franchised this year and if necessary the one thereafter. Either way, he'll be playing at the Superdome next season and likely beyond.

wow, I'd rather lose and do the right thing. Trying to hurt players is not what sports is all about. I want to win as much as anyone but I can't believe that another dolfan would say that is ok if when players are out there trying to hurt other players. They are still humans.

Ozzy rules!!

damn shame!new orleans getting paid incentives to play dirty and the saints still couldn't stop no ****ing body when it mattered??!!LOL

No need to play dirty and trying to injure people. The game is physical enough and rewarding players for cheap shots and crossing the line is uncalled for.

All the herbs coming out to rip someone for speaking their mind......... Lame. Its sad because some of you actually understand football and even played it. You may have even played football enough to have been familiar with that mentality. But now its a social advancement issue, where we the sports fan deny that games like hockey, football and even soccer, basketball and baseball involve such physical tactics. In no way do i condone foul/dirty play, or an intent to injure players, but anyone who really knows football realizes that pain and intimidation are parts of the game. You want your opponent to say "oww, that hurt, i'm going to stay away from this guy". Thats what being a big hitter is all about, catching a player off guard and lighting him up ! If Ronnie Lott played today you guys would apparently be an angry mob, ready to tar and feather him.

What do you think of your average NFL defender ?
" He's disgusting, sir...., there should not be tackling going on in the nfl these days..... i want my fantasy player to last a full season for once. Just spread your arms out and hope the ball carrier bowls you over, loosing his footing in the process. And also this pressure on the quarterback thing is nothing but a distraction, just make the qb off limits already."
