Ok not happening ever! But what would your stance be if we took Darren?

As for me i would be real pleased,I love Ronnie his only weakness is he doesn't have take it to the house for long speed but he has beautiful initial burst and explosion, i love him and i am big fan of his and would love him to be 100% but his injury makes me wonder if he is going to have to alter his game and with that we have a chance to draft a rare talent like darren.
 
I wouldn't say no to having another quality RB on Miami's roster but the salary cap space and the player who would be missed out on as a result of picking someone like McFadden so high would be the bits I object to. Obviously, I would like all the very best players at every single position on the Dolphins and the second-best players backing them up etc. but thankfully the salary cap has stopped teams getting as 'loaded' as that.
 
If that's our pick then great, with a FA and drafted olineman we'd be pretty dominant with the run. I really don't like putting so much cap space in one position, unless there was some plans for Ronnie to be moved. I certainly don't see that happening as well as I can't see us drafting Dmac. Like I first stated it would be exciting to watch our run game though!
 
this draft is so deep in RBs.

u can get Stewart, Rice, Smith, Jones....who, with a good OL, can do just as well. i doubt he will turn into the next Adrian Peterson.
 
No, he can't keep out of trouble in the biggest year of his life, that says alot about the person.
 
It would be a bad decision in the first place and, if we did take McFadden, I would expect Brown to be traded and/or start the season in rehab.
 
If we have to stick with the first pick, we're going to have to pay that pick a lot of money. Why would we want to pay all that money to a RB which is just about the ONLY position we don't have an immediate need at. If we're not going to get any value for that first pick, Matt Ryan or one of the Longs are the only players that make sense as it stands right now.
 
No I'd be P. Oed. RB is one of the few bright spots on our team. We have Brown, Williams, Booker, and poss. Chapaman if resigned. Why sign another one and ignore all the other looming holes on our team?
 
can you guys please understand the concept of football before putting these post? i mean we have the #1 pick that we can probably trade done and get more picks, or we can swap picks with someone and also get a player, or if we cant trade down pick a player who we need and is worth it (Chris Long) who is a class act and an outstanding athlete...yes DMAC has mega talent to but as mentioned earlier cant stay out of trouble...how do u pick a fight at a piano bar? we dont need him, we have plenty RB depth and if Tuna feels like we need a RB there are plenty in the draft, IMO i would take a guy like Mike Hart IF we needed a RB.

No thanks... It would be a waste of a pick to draft McFadden. He probably ably wont make much of an impact because of his vast inability to break tackles and his weak lower body which will kill him because from what i have seen he is an upright style runner. He also doesnt change hands with the ball when he runs to the outside so fumbles will increase greatly if he doesnt fix that.
 
don't want anything to do with him unless it is to trade away for picks or players. if we didn't have ronnie brown - then yeah, i would take him.
 
This team needs a DT not a rush end as long as taylor is on the team, the dolphin couldn't stop the run last season.
