We Looked Horrible, But There's A Long Way To Go...

This team can't keep themselves in games. I just got back to my hotel in Tampa, and the first thing that comes to mind when looking back at this loss, was again the unacceptable amount of penalties....

Over and over, this offense ended scoring opportunities by commiting a penalty. There's no one else to blame for this but Saban, and this coaching staff. The players obviously don't have any discipline, or focus on what their doing out there. The OL play was pathetic as well. Ricky and Ronnie were outrushed by the Bucs 3rd string RB. What a joke....

This loss was down right ugly. But there's a long way to go yet, and the state of the division isn't that impressive so, we still have a shot even at 2-3 right now. I still have hope. Saban has some serious work to do though, and if we don't improve, we're looking at another losing season....

One more thing, I think it's time Sage gets a shot. Gus just misses way too many sure thing passes for my taste. Those overthrows today were just unbelievable....

Well we did lose by 2 TD's today....but we have been in all 4 previous games.

I think thats the silver lining in comparing last years team and coaching staff to this years team and coaching staff.

We wouldnt have been in many of the first 5 games with last years team and staff, but we have been in them this year. We havent played well on the road this year, we do have a tough schedule, but we have made improvements. It will get better. But I agree with you we have a long way to go.

We need to develop consistency. At some points we look amazing and some we looked like we did last year or even worse.
