Where is the reset button?
Obviously the dropped passes didn't help but we lost, as I called it earlier in the week, that if we don't pressure Brady, it is game over. We saw EXACTLY what happens and has happened during our loses when you don't get to the qb. Manning, Rivers, Brees and Brady all have torn our inexperienced secondary apart as well as not having linebackers that can cover for anything.
If any of you are searching for the real reason Miami is having problems right now, look no further than obviously the inexperience at corner, two SS's on the field at the same time in Bell and Wilson and completely one dimensional linebackers.
Once we get the linebacking situation taken care of (MLB that can cover and OLB's that can get constant pressure) as well as get a true FS (Clemens?), things should work themselves out.
It is just the huge growing pains as our running game and passing attack is adequate IMO (obviously we need more playmakers at WR) enough to stick around in games. We need our defense though to come up with big plays to beat the top teams in the league. That didn't happen today and well there is the main reason we lost the game. It isn't going to go away IMO until those things are addressed. 2 years replaced from 1-15, new F.O. as well as coaching staff and a true house cleaning.
Say it with me people and yeah it sucks...GROWING PAINS. Davis and Smith are going to be studs the likes of Madison and Surtain in their prime or maybe even better. You can take that to the bank IMO.
