I enjoyed the game. The defense looked good and the offense looked better. DC played way better then he did the first three games. And now let me know how much of an idiot I am for saying this!! Oh yeah we are only 1 game out from being tied for first inour division so the season is not even close to being over!!!! :D
 
yea, I mean I hope some heat is off CPep from this game . . . it definetly needs to go on the OLine and the playcalling . . . which was TERRIBLE. Mularkey needs to go . . . NOW.

Sorry, but the offense didn't look better. Culpepper looked good BUT this offense is being held back by Mularkey's play-calling IMO....He needs to give Ronnie more carries, does he have something against running plays?

I know a trcik play on a 2 yard 2point conversion attempt!!! That was ******ed

I know Ronnie only had 7 carries in the first half! :confused:
 
Put down the RW pipe that was Houston we played, we suck plain and simple.
Lots of change no inprovement, Wanny did more with less talent.
Boring and bad.
 
the offense looked better?! HUH? what game were you watching the offense was TERRIBLE until that last run they made to come back!

I have been full of optimism since the start of the season and still think we will improve, but what game were you watching? OUr defense couldnt stop them when it counted and when the defense got a turnover, we couldnt convert them into TD's. At this point, we really do suck. I really mean it. We have to be realistic. WE barely beat the Titans when Dallas is scoring 45 points. we just flat out stink right now. That said, I will be in front of the TV every Sunday and watch every second of the game. I really hope it gets better soon.

If you enjoyed this game, I'd hate to see the game you DIDN'T enjoy. We suck and we are not going anywhere but the toilet this season.
 
You are half right...the defense looked pretty good but the offense was/is horrible. I think it is time to let Mularkey go.
 
We flat out sucked - for most of the game! Here's my observations as this is the 2nd game I have been able to watch (1st was Steelers).

Offense
1.) O-Line pass protection was horrible on most plays. Adding salt to the wound were several holding and false start penalties. I also twice that prior the snap with the play clock running down Cullpeper motioned to the Center like 'just snap the freaking ball'. This cost us a timeout and a delay of game penalty. The delay of game was after a new quarter had just begun too (maybe the 2nd qtr?).
2.) Ronnie was consistent but not very productive with the exception of his 19yd rumble he had 11 carries for 30yds, 0tds running. Needs to get more carries to wear down the defense and if Ronnie gets tired put in Suggs.
3.) Where was Chambers? Other than a deep attempt early in the game and a first down grab he didn't reappear until the 4th qtr with the TD catch.

Defense
1.) D-Line did well today. Shut down the run and got some pressure on Carr. Limited the R.Dayne for 22 carries for 58 yds. J.Taylor got two sacks one of which was the sack, strip and recovery on Carr.
2.) LB's I didn't notice anything that they screwed up on. Overall they played a solid game.
3.) DB's. Several times when Carr was competing passes I was like man that guy is wide open. Other than the nice rip from Andre Johnson by Will Allen for the INT not much to say other than Carr ripped them to the tune of 22/29 for 230yds and 1td.

Special Teams
1.) Mare hit the nice 52yd FG to tie Stoyanovich's record with 13 50+yd FGs.
