There has been alot of negative post and rightfully so. The Dolphins didn't show up to play on Sunday. However I would just like to point out that Saban chose the right RB in the 2005 draft. Ronnie Brown can definetly carry the load had we kept pounding him against the bills he would have had a huge day. 15 for 70 yards and 5 catches for 50 wasn't too bad. On the other hand Cadiliac seems to be a little to small to carry the load and Cedric Benson has been injured and his own teammates don't seem to like him to much. I'm just happy we have Ronnie Brown eventually he will be the goto guy on a real good Dolphins team.

yeah but last year every one was on the CADDY band wagon... lol .. now this year it was funny cause in one of my fantasy football leagues, one of my friends a BUCS fan, in the first round picked ronnie over caddy... enough said !! lol

ronnie brown is a caged beast in my opinion, for some strange reason malarky wants to use him here and their but not let him carry the load

against buffalo he was a beast he was making his own yards, finding the right holes and was carving them up nice, so what happens

second half he runs TWICE that is it, if we pounded them with the run all day we win

Funny how when Ronnie goes out and plays by putting up 120 total yards all the nonsensensical "We need a new RB" posts dissapear.

Of course when he has another game with only 40yds rushing the posts will reappear.

Goes to show you execution is a greater measuring stick of talent then statistics or results alone, especially poor blocking results, on a given play. Ronnie has and always had the talent, with some blocking and experience he is maximizing it.

We all should keep that in mind with any other current dolphin player or coach that you feel is underperforming. Its not a lack of talent, its execution.

Mularky and the OL need to step it up, Ronnie can do this, he just needs to be given the opportunity.

So what the original poster is saying, Ronnie is a better option when you have no blocking. But if you have a good OL, Caddy is the better choice.

That said, we made the right choice.

The only thing holding Ronnie back is the o-line, IMO. He has definitely shown me the ability to make guys miss, run thru arm tackles, and carry defenders for extra yardage. He just needs to be able to get a push from his line so he's starting his run against LB's and not D-Linemen.

admittely i have thought ronnie was not performin upto the standard of a no.2,but after the bills game it is giving me different perspective,i started to see him relax and get his footwork together, man was he looking good,he was the only one looking good, smooth pleyer when catching the ball and turning up field.

I do not think ronnie excells as a traditional style runningback, like michael vick isn't a traditional style quarterback but in my opinion the most dangerous QB in the game,,, I now believe ronnie could be the same way relative to his position but he needs creatively designed plays that will get him the ball untraditionally.

I believe Ronnie will show that he's capable of providing the workload necessary (20-30 carries a game) soon.

No doubt, just like if we went 0-5 half the saban avies would disappear and you would see the maybe saban wasnt the right choice threads appear.

I like ronnies running ability and more importantly he has his head on straight. I have never worried about him and I think Suggs will compliment him nicely.

ronnie is a beast...and he is showing he can recieve well also. imo is is like the powerful LT, except for some reason we dont feed him the ball.
