We may be in luck.

Yeah it's always possible. I think the Leinart's decision to stay was more the exception than the rule. I would personally rather have Quinn overall, but I could be convinced to take Young over Cutler (he's more raw, but there's more there too).
Good post

Could you sum it up for those of us without Insider??

Whether or not we want him, it's good for us if he comes out. He will either give us more options come draft day or bump players down to us that would have normally gone higher.

I think what you can read just about sums to up. He and his family have obviously been mulling the idea of declaring, and have entertained a few phone calls from potential agents. this guy is probably a top 15 pick

exactly....

Based on curent standings it seems the Dolphins would pick anywhere from 8 - 12. I do not believe there will be a "can't miss" (if there is such a thing) qb available in that window. However, given the state of the Dolphin qb situation the past 5 years, I do not believe there is any other way to go other than to draft a qb in the first round and hope for the best.

Basically says V. Young is starting to lean towards Declaring. Even going as far as contacting Agents.

Also says after Saturdays game may sway him more as well.

He wouldn't be contacting an agent as he'd give up any eligibility he had left for this season at the least

It sounds like his parents are just lining up the ducks for him...

Not consider in the sense that they are winnowing down a laundry list of suitors, or even auditioning any potential representatives, although that latter element could change as soon as Saturday, following the Big 12 title game.

sorry read it wrong. he hasn't talked to any agents as of yet.

It probably has something to do with the CBA as well. Isn't this the last year that Rookie contracts will be outragious?
