Even though we are sitting in 2nd place in the division, one could argue that we are in the worst position of any team in the division.

Here's what I mean
Team record Conference Division

Pats 3-2 2-1 0-0

Dolphins 2-2 1-2 0-2

Bills 2-3 2-0 1-0

Jets 2-3 1-3 1-0

Although the Jets have a worse conference record than us, they beat us so that's why I would consider them in a better position than us.

Yeah we are, right now. There's still 4 more division games to play and 3 of them are at home so I'm not too worried about it at this point. We just got unlucky with the schedule having to play 2 division road games this early.

Sorry that didn't come out too good

Pats are 3-2, 2-1 in the AFC, 0-0 in the division

Dolphins are 2-2, 1-2 in the AFC, 0-2 in the division

Bills are 2-3, 2-0 in the AFC, 1-0 in the division

Jets are 2-3, 1-3 in the AFC, 1-0 in the division.

It's pretty obvious that Miami has to win all three home divisional games to have any shot at all of winning the division. The problem is that the one road game they have left is the hardest one. I don't expect any home Patriot performances like the San Diego game again anytime soon.

If we split the division (3-3) then I'll be very happy.

If someone told me, looking at our schedule before the season, that we'd be 2-2 right now I would have said thank you very much.

me too, were 2-2 and we could easily be 4-0, i know we lost a few heartbreaking ones, but we have RW back, and were in the hunt for the division.

if it wasnt for mike Vick sitting out, the fins would be tied with the Pats for the #1 spot.

of all the games for M. Vick to sit out of... why the hell did it have to be agenst the PATS!!!!!!

exactly, Typical Pats. Even when it's their turn to deal with the injury storm (that affects every team every few years), one ray of sunlight still manages to shine on their azzes...same thing in Pitt. They could very easily be 1-4 right now

take another look, madden... Schaub played as well or better than Vick ever could... and Vick certainly wouldn't have the come-from-behind passing ability that Schaub showed... . it was the Atlanta secondary who lost that game. ... not the quarterback position...

It would have been a complettely different game if Vick had played so don't act like you know when you have no clue.

do you know what M. Vicks presence on the field does to defenses? do you not realize the complete change in the defensive scheme? how hard it is to stop the run in a "contain" defense?

M. Vick may not be the passer Schaub is, but i know for a fact the Pats would have rather played Schaub over Vick.

and does anyone else get irritated when they say, "Another game winning drive by Brady"? more like "another game winning FG from Vinittari (SP?)".

that's ridiculous... you're the one in search of a clue... what would Vick have done to make Atlanta's secondary and linebackers play differently on Brady's 3 30+ yard touchdown strikes?

you're stretching just a bit, don't you think?

vick doesnt play defense. but he sure as hell plays offense. if he was in the game Atlanta's run game would have pounded the ball. and given the pats less offensive plays.

You never know if ronnie and ricky can do some great things and bring us many wins.

It's hard to sa that when Atlantan put up 28 points w/o Vick and that was their 2nd highest point toal of the season.
