This is very reminiscent of the Julius Thomas injury (except different body party). Not too serious, but day to day to make team have to game plan for him. Usually when an injury is not "too serious" means a couple of weeks. Let's hope. Would be a huge break for two reasons: Smith owned Grimes last year and Finnegan may not play.

Rather it was the other Smith.

Torrey is a pure vertical threat and easy to contain. Smith Sr can run all the routes.

Now if only Forsett pulls a hammy during practice.... :ponder:

Did you watch last year's game?? Tell that to Brent Grimes.

Not as big a deal with Steve Smith, Grimes can handle him better, then having to deal with Torrey's size/speed combination, as AEGBRG pointed out about last year.

If our dline plays like crap and Vernon and Wake are non factors, it will not matter who is playing corner for us.
Getting after Flacko is the only way to stop their passing game. He is very accurate and has great touch when he has time to throw.

they had a starting corner get nicked up also sunday...and they have zero depth at corner now kinda like us...torrey smith misses that would be huge...
