If you've been a fan of the NFL for awhile you all know how hard it is to find a decent solid QB, and guess what? Tanny is just that! Great teams have been formed and Superbowls have been won with lesser QBs.

Of course Tanny needs to keep improving but calling for his head and getting rid of him is going to throw this team back to the dark ages again for who knows how long. Were obviously going to be rebuilding with a new coach and everyone knows how gut wrenching that process is. It'd be a whole lot easier for the rebuilding process if the new coach feels confident in his young QB.

I still believe Tanny gives us a solid foundation to work with.

Great. We lost our home opener 41-14 and demolished by our ex players (after we lost to Jacksonville) but glad the Tannehill supporters are still happy!!!

Totally agree. Peyton Manning in his prime couldn't play behind this offensive and I do mean "offensive line".

im not really a Tannehill nut hugger....I just want a smooth transition as possible for the rebuilding process. Remember how long it took to find a half decent QB after Marino? We thought it was Pennington but boom! no such luck. Tannehill is alright. Just look around the league.

What would you propose? If you were GM for example

Yea. We still have not found one. We had one in Pennington, but the guy was in his 30s and a bit frail.

We have had opportunities to get one, but we simply refused to take a shot. The 3 most recent attempts we made at drafting a QB in the first 2 rounds have failed miserably. We need to do a better job of selecting a QB when the draft comes around. Instead of picking bums and passing on the good ones available, pick a good one when the opportunity presents itself instead of taking players at positions of much less relevance in terms of overall success.

I'm worried about RT. Worried that he won't survive the season with the current "protection" that's been put together for him. Seriously, 3 1st round picks on the OL (when Albert is healthy), and absolute garbage at guard. How hard is it to find a competent OG? Come on, man.

I appreciate that, thanks dude :)

I still like Tannehill but it's hard to play behind that line.

I still believe in Tanny, and the optimist in me actually believes that a different coaching staff could turn the talent on this team around. It's a moot point though, because any salvaging of this situation would require swift and intelligent action from the owner of this team.

If Rex had came here and brought Tyrod Taylor in to compete do you think its a slam dunk that Tannehill beats him? Part of me thinks we need a guy here pushing Tannehill for the starting job, at the very least. On the other hand 90% of Dolphin fans felt like Tannehill was a great QB to be, so did we get the most out of him with Moore stroking his ego?

You should be worried about Tanny.... ignorant not to be.

I am still a Tannehill backer and think there is a lot of potential with him but man I can't defend his play yesterday. it was ****ing awful. and the Oline was putrid as well so its not all his fault I guess.

We also could have brought Sanchez in a couple of years ago and at least have been competent at the position. At least Sanchez has demonstrated the ability to rise up in 4th qtrs, beat good teams, beat the Pats, and win in the playoffs.

While Sanchez may not be considered elite, he would have been an adequate player to help us compete until we could draft a QB that takes us to the next level. He is much better than Tannehill, that much is certain.

Thats what Philbin thought as well, how did that work out for him and Lazor?
