and finally draft our own QB! thats what Daunte was to the Vikings and thats what Harrington was to the Lions. look guys Daunte isn't the same QB he used to be and may never be again. Harrington is solid but I want better. we drafted our best QB ever in Marino so why don't we do the same again? I've had it with these 2nd rate QBs in Feeley, Fielder, Lucas, Frerotte etc... If we don't draft a QB on the 1st day next year and none of our current QBs have shown anything I'll be ticked
 
you guys might be willing to settle for less than best but I'm not. I want a Manning or a Brady or a Palmer or a McNabb, good teams have top QBs period!
 
we need a qb to win NOW!!!! not wait 3 years for him to develop. if we did that, all out key players we have at the moment would be gone cause theyre gettin old.

How many super bowls was Marino to? 1

All first day selections. Tom Brady was a second round garbage pick in the 6th round. Calm down, and give the current QB situation some time.

You mean players like Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas who have waited yrs and have got nothing but a some Pro-Bowls to show for their effort?

Here's the thing none of you understand:

Daunte never was the same QB he used to be. Even in 04, Linehan made him look good , he wasn't that great( a whole lot of garbage time stats.)!! - Believe me. I watched every game, not just some dumb a s s reporter on Sunday night on ESPN who was showing his highlights and kissing his a s s.
You traded for a real dud boys.

You make it sound so simple. Getting a QB on the first round does not mean automatic success.

I agree with Foos-ball.

Ask the Bengals about Akili Smith, or the Bears about Cade McNown. How about the Redskins and Heath Shuler or Patrick Ramsey? The Browns and Tim Couch? The Chargers and Ryan Leaf?

Maybe we can change the team name to the Miami Trashcollectors? Actually, I prefer to think that we Recycle.

I agree. We need to clean house....and bring in a good QB like Jeff George or Jeff Garcia.

Thank you Wayne for stopping in MN and taking our garbage QB away.He was starting to smell. But you really didn't need to leave us a 2nd rounder too:lol:
 
All we need to do is cultivate and develop the three QB's we have now, they can all 3 turn into good QB's. Drafting a QB is iffy at best and means nothing worthwhile for us for at least 2-3 years.

Look, Wannspeil got us into this quandry, it's going to take YEARS to get out of it. Either you want to rebuild, which means 3-4 years, or you want to win, which means we develop DC or JH and try to win next year, you just can't have it both ways!
