I think we have a young talented core of talent on D, and Arrington is not worth the $.
What we need is a second wideout to compliment Chambers in order for Culpepper to get it done. What do you think are our options?

Marty Booker is a legitimate #2....now maybe we need more speed in our receiver corps but Booker is solid for us.

Maybe if we go out and sign that Marty Booker guy...he might help:lol:

Booker isn't speedy OR productive enough. We need a younger playmaker....

Did you see any of the games last year? Marty Booker made several big plays. The 50 yard TD against the Broncos and that like 56 yarder against San Diego. Some 70% of the balls were thrown at Chambers. When they go to Booker he makes the play. He's a great #2.

There are plenty of WR's in the later rounds of this draft...maybe we trade down for extra picks and can pick one up in Rd. 2. I wouldn't want to see Miami take a WR at #16...go OL or DB, pleez!

Are you serious?? The guy was third in the league in yards per catch. If that isn't productivity, then I don't know what is. Booker is a solid possession receiver that makes plays when called upon.

Booker had his moments last year. I think it had alot to do with Ferrotte(his completion rate was just a little over 50%). I think with a little more consistincy at the QB level..we will be ok. I would still like to draft a WR somewhere in the later rounds.

if we sign lavar i say we draft chad jackson or one of those wide recievers it'll give us room to ditch booker in the offseason next year and then we could always draft defensive backs with the rest of our picks saban is good at drafting in the late rounds he knows what he's doing

i would love to see a new WR in the system for later but Booker is fine for now. I say draft one in 3rd round go Db 1st

AMEN BROTHA'!!!

Booker look good before and will look a LOT better with Daunte Culpepper throwing! Booker would be a #1 on some teams. The guy is definitely good enough as a #2.

You may need to look at some of last year's games...ESPECIALLY the 2nd half of the season when the passing schemes were changed, which sent Booker deep and Chambers on shorter routes. BOTH WR's production increased immensly as most of Chambers' yardage was accrued after the catch and Booker cathcing the longer balls.

Did I say longer balls?

Ah we have a guy called Marty Booker:
He gets NO RESPECT and I'm starting to get tired of it! Booker is Legite and Awesome. He is not a fancy reciever but when the ball is thrown near him he will win the fight 90 percent of the time and make the catch. Big stong Reciever, he's also a great open field blocker which will result in much longer gains for Ronnie. We do not need any other wide recievers, we have plenty of depth at that postion.

PLease take a look at his numbers and remeber what type of QBs have been throwing to Booker through out his career.
