No i dont mean Alex Rodriguez or Ryan Howard.
I mean we need a guy that can make the long play, that devastates a team. You know the feeling, we have all felt it when Laverneous Coles, or some fast receiver or a HR hitting RB just deleivers that knockout blow. It demoralizes a team and their fans.
Im not ready to write off Chambers yet, but he has never been a HR hitter. He has a been a guy that is great in the red zone and thise short passes that allow him to use his athleticism.
Booker has the hands to be that kind of guy, but he doesnt have the speed. Hagen is kind of slow and has erractic hands.
Now at RB, ronnie brown aside from that run in the KC game in 05, has never had a huge run. He is a great pounder and in the right situation can work away slowly at a defense, but he doest have that 5th or 6th gear, that the great RBs have.
Now if we dont draft a guy, that has killer speed i dont know what Cam is thinking. This offense has no speed what so ever. Ronnie has good speed but he doesnt use it like he should. He runs way to upright and this never allows him to break away like he can.
There is some hope. Ricky Williams. he is a homerun hitter. We saw it in 05. The only two games he started, he combined for 280 yards and 2 TDs. This guy is still something special and he knows how to use all his god given ability to make the most out of what he has.
Its just my opinion feel free to critique and post your own.
