We need a new owner!!!!!!

Ross didn't do anything but fail at what he was trying to do. Ross was TRYING TO GET FISHER. HE DID NOT CHOOSE TO LET FISHER GO, FISHER CHOSE TO GO ELSEWHERE. IF IT WERE UP TO ROSS, FISHER WOULD BE THE COACH OF THE MIAMI DOLPHINS RIGHT NOW.
I don't knoww what's so hard to understand about that.

well then, think of it as an intervention saving Ross from himself.

We didn't have a choice between Reid, Coughlin, Chuckie, Cowher and Fischer. I don't understand what your point is. We had a choice between Fisher and a bunch of coordinators who may make it as a head coach but are completely unknown.
Ross tried to get the best coach on the market, and he failed. I don't know what the celebration is about.

the point is we just got rid of a mediocre coach... and one with control issues at that!

6 out of 17 seasons winning and a run first philosophy does not warrant jumping for joy. I'd rather take a chance on the next Harbaugh(s) or Payton than the faux excitement over a mediocre coach just because he may be the best of a bad batch of ones with experience. .. and maybe not even the best if Billick were allowed to compete.

Anybody can think whatever they want, but I'm already tired of hearing people say "ROSS DID THE RIGHT THING" when he, in fact, failed at his intended goal.
Ross would have "done the right thing" if he fired Sparano and started Pat Devlin from week 7 on. At least now we would be able to have Andrew Luck along with some glimmer of hope for the future. Now what the hell do we have? We're coach-less, QB-less, and organizationally inept... AWESOME!

Sheeeez...we should have tanked for Luck? You must be 12!

don't get me started on SFL: as if anyone who didn't have his head up his *** really believed this team lacked the talent and resolve to win at least 3 games, if not more. Flaunting the SFL, booing Fins scores at Joe Robbie, rooting against the players only galvanized their "eff U" resolution. Don't complain about the Karma this created: she's an unforgiving beyotch with a long memory!

Chill out about the owner. Getting Fisher or not didn't blow anything. Get real. Better coaches out there.
Titans were so boring under Fisher anyway....would have been like Sparano II.
You don't give the farm to a middle of the road coach like Fisher. A young, hungry coach with a fire will benefit us more.

I am celebrating that we didn't get Fisher.
the point isnt that we did not get fisher, the point is that for the 2nd time in 1 year our owner looks like a complete buffoon...will he tell us again that he was only having icecream with jeff and advising him to go to St. Louis?...

I am glad that we didnt get fisher but our owner is clueless in the NFL world...

“This was Miami’s game to lose, and Ross decided he wanted his current G.M. to retain his current level of power. So the Rams got their man,” Silver said. “Fisher was willing to meet halfway on personnel control, but Ross wouldn’t budge. He’s an Ireland man.”

I'm not a huge Ireland fan, but I respect this move. He made up his mind that he wants Ireland to have control over personnel, and he's sticking to his guns.

I was initially disappointed, but after further thought, I am not. More often than not coaches that hold additional powers have not done exceptionally well. I like the idea of Toub, who is "rumored" to get a second interview. He is supported by the likes of Reid and Smith and considered to be good head coach material (forget about special teams, ie John Harbough). This may be a blessing in the long run.
