We need a RB in free agency....are we getting one?

I know it's only the 2nd day but lots of good players gone already. I'd have liked Donald Brown but he's gone. Maybe Tate? I know some people here don't like him. I know we can't get everyone but we need a RB. Anyone thinks we'll go and get us one and if so, who do you think we'll get? I know there's aways the draft of course.

we dont need one, at the right price somebody like Tate could be useful
 
We don't need one? Are you kidding me? So you're happy with one of the worst rushing attacks in the NFL? Yes I know the oline was bad but we still need a RB.

not sold on any of these FA RBs....RBs aren't going to break the bank in most cases so teams tend to hold on to their good backs....if we can take care of a few more needs in FA then we can certainly afford to draft a kid who can come in an block for us day 1....
 
Sign MJD. He is a perfect fit. Great blocker, picks up the blitz well, can break tackles and get those 1 yrd first downs, is a very good catcher. He is everything we were misssing last year from the HB position with Thomas. Yea his YPC was poor last year but he was playing on a **** team, with a **** QB and a **** O Line.


We dont need him to rush for 1,800. Just do the above listed things. MJD is a perfect fit. Him and Miller would be a nice 1-2 punch.

The Jets have a big interest in MJD. We either get him or we have to face him 2 times a year.
 
The FA backs are old or injury prone. Signing one would be a desperate move. Wait till the draft and grab a young hammer to offset Miller.
 
Gerhardt. Everyone else has some sort of problem or they're just mediocre, or they signed already. Honestly, there are about 6 RB in the draft that could come in and start immediately.

Gerhart already signed with Jax.
 
Most of them are gone so I uess I might have to wait till the draft and hope we hit on one.

With Hickey as director of player personnel, Tampa had a strong track record of evaluating RBs recently. Blount as an UDFA, Doug Martin, Mike James, Rainey. All pretty good gets, imo. I think he believes he's good with that position.
