Anybody else getting nervous about our non-existent return game? Bess is good for a fair catch but he simply doesn't have the speed to excel there. I would be combing the waiver wire and low grade trade market for an upgrade...You need to create favorable field position at times or get a big play now and then. Can someone give me an amen?
Should w:ponder:e claim the App State kid Dexter Jackson???

I see it alittle differently...the Dolphins need a receiver so Ginn can do returns.

I totally agree. We need a threat to house it every time otherwise we're just giving up valuable field position. Watching other teams make me jealous,

Chicago has Devin Hester
Atlanta has Jerrious Norwood
Denver has Eddie Royal
etc etc

We have...Bess, who can't even outrun a linebacker :(

I'm sorry, but they need to put Cobbs at return man because he was lighting it up last year. He never got a chance to return punts but I'm sure he'll light that up too. If not Cobbs then Hillard but we cant keep 4 backs for nothing.

Am I the only person who likes having SURE HANDED Bess back there.
Wasnt his avg pretty high last year.

I would like to keep Ginn for KR, and possibilities for PR would be Cobbs, Hilliard, and Hartline

I would rather see our 6th WR return kicks rather than the best 3rd string RB in the league

hopefully we can pickup someone's September cut to do the job

Agreed, but he rarely sees the field when compared to Ginn, Bess, Ricky, or Hartline. If Cobbs is too risky then put Hilliard in there but keep Ginn safely on the sideline on kickoffs because one of two things happen:he doesn't juke the **** out of some one and takes it down 30-40yrds or he head towards the sideline where he usually ends up running out or getting pushed out.

Having Bess returning punts worked out really well. Davone Bess has the best hands on the team and we never have to worry about him putting the ball in the dirt. He is great at finding space run in, sure he might not be a threat to take it to the house, he will get us 10 yds on every return.

Having Ted Ginn and Patrick Cobbs returning kicks gives us two different threats on KO. We are fine, I would rather have the roster spot for one of our young receivers or to keep Lex on the roster.

They only have Hester returning punts now so he can concentrate on receiver. They took Hester off of Kickoff returns. And they are considering taking him off punt return duties as well.

if London is our 6th WR and we have a chance at a bonafide returner then I say buh-bye London

I wonder if they have ever given Jason Allen a shot at returning kicks.

He has very good hands for a DB.

He has 4.3 speed

He has one of the best combine shuttle times of the decade.

Maybe they have tried him in practice but I would be interested in knowing how it went.

I want someone with sure hands to field punts. Securing the ball is the number one concern.
