I do not know if we are going to go after rhodes or alexander but we have to get someone incase ricky smokes pot or doesn't have anything left in the tank and if ronnie takes longer to get back. Who do you think will get cut before june 1st?

We don't need a veteran running back whether Ricky smokes pot or Ronnie is slow coming back. With Patrick Cobbs and the rookies we drafted/signed, we are pretty much set at the position.

Ok so you wanna count on some low round drafted rookie backs or cobb who has had little time.I know he runs hard but he is not what I want to count on.

Alexander is done. I'd take my chances with Ricky any day, over anyone else out there.

why would we need a verteran RB. we have RONNIE, RICKY, and we drafted TWO. we are GOOD at RB. having a veteran RB is NOT important

rb is our least concern
y dont u look at our secondary, but please dont start another stupid thread on how to improve that

I think we have more than enough RBs already... if one of these talented former-starters want to join us as a backup and for the minimum, though, then come on down

Yes. The Steelers Willie Parker went undrafted. The Giants Brandon Jacobs was a 4th round draft pick. The Cowboys Marion Barber III was a 4th round draft pick.

Running back is probably the easiest position to transition from college to the pros. What most rookie running backs have a problem with is blitz pickup not running the ball.

if we can get alexander for cheap i would like to have him but the problem is we wont get him for cheap

If I were Ricky Williams, I'd pay some dude $100 an hour to hang out with me 24/7 to ensure I do not take any bong hits. Seriously what is at stake for him you'd think he'd take some steps to make sure he does not F it up again.

And what veteran RB is going to want to sign with a team that Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, and two draft picks at the same position?
