We need an age restricted forum.

Seriously. Make birthdate a mandatory field in the registration and create a Dolphin section for 21 and over posters only.

But then there's the issue of enforcement. There's nothing we can do to stop someone from putting in whatever age they like.

but once they declare there age they are responsible not you. you don't get arrested if someone provides you with a bogus/believable id to buy beer when he/she is actually a minor.

The other option is to install a filter and based on your birthdate have the filter on or off that way no new forums need be added

I've always thought a birthdate should be mandatory, at least for the sake of anyone who doesn't want to waste their time arguing with a 15 year old.

It's more of a personal barrier than anything the site needs to be responsible for.
